Love that jack...especially for the price. Everything from Harbor Freight eventually turns into a hammer but for the price you can buy replacements.

I have this jack and it's great!

It's waaaay heavier than the aluminum one that Jive and rsutton have, but it's a lot longer and lower, and it lifts higher. I like it since I never take it out of my garage. The aluminum ones are great if you need to transport them.

I agree. Harbor Freight right down the road from me. I have plenty of cheap tools. Most work pretty well!

How do you have your EWG setup? Looks like it wouldn't be able to open.

haha thanks. I actually plan on keeping the lights stock, I like the way they look, especially the tails with the individual red bulbs.

As I slowly (and I mean slowly, I'm talking a few years here haha) am able to mod the car, I'm planning on dropping it just a little (need the clearance in Pittsburgh) and putting silver basket style rims on it, like the Rota MXR or VS-XX. Silver accents =

I have those jack stands, but they don't work well with the bottom of the car due to the way the ends of the stands are made. You seem to have some sort of insert to level out that area and to make them usable. What are they?

I meant the plug in the top. The top half needs to be vented. It's hard to tell, but it looks like the side/top port also has a plug in it.

yupp. you're right i just look at it on my computer.

the top vent in the top of the EWG on the red cap need to have a nipple that vents to atmosphere. then you run a line from the middle part of the wastegate to you EBCS...another line from turbo, and another line from the intake if you have a 3-port EBCS.

I am assuming that I'm not seeing something right, because the way it looks it would never open, and boost would go to 30psi and your turbo would blow up. I'm assuming this isn't happening, so it must be something I'm missing.

If you have the top port plugged, then you NEED to have something connected to the top/side port. In the photo it looks like it's plugged, but it's blocked so you can't see it. If you have a nipple in there and it's hooked up to your EBCS, then it should be fine.

Ah, I understand what you see. Of course the side top-port is not plugged. Why is it in question? Suppose a poorly angled pic

you can run an 04 sti rotor with brembos if you want. thats probably the easiest way to do it.

the rear is what poses the problem for us.

would it be bad to run just STI brembos in the front? that's how BBK's are generally

to go through all that hassle for the rear is not worth it.

it is your front that does most of the braking so only upgrading the front and getting a better pad for the rear along with SS liens would be a great mod.

i know a lot of people that only do the front brembo's and track the **** out of it and love it.

08+ rears are direct bolt ons with 08+ STI rotors drilled for 5x100 (DBA's come that way)

Nope. Not at all actually. I ran that way for a couple of months...and tracked it like that.
