Hello!
Just wanted to say hello, this site rocks! I was about to buy an EVO before I came here, and discovered how much more the STI has to offer performance wise, trying to get info out of Subaru the dealer was like pulling teeth, but I've gotten all my answers right here. The only other Subarus I've driven were Outback wagons and the Impreza L, they were both underpowered but handled great especially in the wet/snow.
This car will be replacing a '98 Ford Crown Victoria with a few performance mods, my other car is an '02 Cooper S, so I will be able to motor no matter the weather, since the MINI had to be parked if there was more than 4" of snow. With some blizzaks on the STI that would not be a concern. Well, enough about me.... X2

Just one more thing to think about, for the sti to have blizzacks your going to have to find some 18 inch blizzack or spend big bucks on the few 17 inch rims that will fit over the sti brakes.

I plan to throw winter's on the stock rims. Sell off the stock Bridgestones, and find a nice set of 18 or 17" rims for the summer

No snow=no winter time fun. AWD is a blast in the slippery stuff. It's like off-roading in the dirt without all the rocks chipping up your paint.

Jasonoff - If you sell the Bridgestones, let me know. I could possibly be very interested (if they are new that is)
