Post how to turn off password store?

when i first signed up, i enabled the password store feature, and now that i have changed my password, it still brings up the old password, so now i can't get into my private messages. please, somebody help. thanks in advance. also, i have already tried going to the preferences and selecting no for the feature, but it goes back to yes. what do i do?

Just delete the cookies on your machine. It'll have to ask you for the password, then enter the new one.
