Lightbulb OT: Next Reality TV Show - NESICK of spending all my money on my CAR!!!

Okay...I have a great idea for a new reality television show...It's called NESICK! and it's a reality show based on the not-so-rich and their addiction/affliction with modifying/fixing their scoobs...

whaddya guys think? I'll call NBC and get a film crew over to my house for:

EPISODE 1: Car still won't rev over 4100rpm...Camshaft or Crankshaft Positioning Sensor??? Along with the installation of 2.5RS struts/springs (from Siper2), 17mm rear sway bar(from BeantownWRX), and front strut tower bar.

Any ideas for future episodes?

I could probably supply real life topics for at least 5 shows if it doesn't have to always include scoobies.

At least one episode has to include a Scooby getting towed out of a snowbank at an ice race.

By a Neon with screw tires.

HA! All good ideas...and of course we can do a special "Life of Jack" episode!!!

I cleaned MAF, replaced MAF...nothing...My scoobie tech buddy told me it is prolly the Crankshaft or Camshaft positioning sensor...

Keep the ideas rollin'

I don't know exactly the different ways that Subie engines limit things like this. But simple things have you reset your ECU??
I know in some other cars the ECU will sometimes go into a protect mode that will not allow it to rev over a certain RPM's. Maybe you could try a different ECU. Your OBDI though... I just noticed that so I dunno if they did that then...

Does it bounce at 4100RPM's? Or just kind of stop there and not move?

Bounces and the whole engine shakes!

EPISODE 2 Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie take a ride in my car, exept it's not "rich" enough for them, so I drift through a hard left turn, open the passenger door, and the two of them fly out of the car since the weigh about as much as a Triscuit cracker...
