opinionated computer folks, answer a question about random access memory thanks a lot
is it better to have 2 gb of 800 mhz ram or 4 gb of 666 mhz ram when running vmware on vista.

Yes.
2gb is practically the minimum for vista, and you want to run VMs on it. Go with 4. |

for VM...4gb at a minimum. More is always better. I've got 6gb and a quad core on my desktop running 7....runs smooth, and wouldn't go any less!
