They're printed with ABS+ plastic. They are pretty tough. I've got a sick set on my FXT (XTI logo) but I'm not cool enough to post pics on the page yet. Low post count i guess?

Did you see my White 04 at Simply Clean? I did my light bar last August and knew it was only a matter of time before it caught on.

Yes you have to take the mesh out. You have to Trim a substantial amount of the heat sink, and get a little creative with the mounting bolts.

.

No I have no idea what your car looks like. I originally planned on mounting the light bar on the roof rack, but I realized that it wasn't
going to fit where I wanted it to. Really wasn't that hard to realize that the bar fit well in the grill.

Mind putting up a pic of your car? I looked for one but it's been deleted.
So you bought that sweet aftermarket shift knob, or found one you really like, but of course it doesn't have the collar/shift boot retainer for the Subaru factory shift boot. Bummer. Not anymore... for $1.58 and about 30 minutes, you can make a clean looking shift boot retainer for that new knob. I did see a shift boot retainer on ebay for about $17 but I don't think the diameter fits Subaru shift boots. Anyway... here is how it's done:

Buy this rubber grommet from any hardware store (I got mine at Lowe's in the hardware drawers): http://www.lowes.com/pd_423504-37672...ductId=4565079

Using a file, I decreased the diameter of one side of the grommet and rounded it off. This took a few tries, but once you get it small enough, the shift boot pops right on very securely. The hole in this grommet was a bit small but with a little encouragement, this fits over the shift lever with no problem. Here are some pictures of the grommet and how it looks installed. I used a piece of red vinyl around the circumference of the grommet which looks great. You can put this directly under the base of the knob to make it flush, or move it down like I did depending on what you like better.

There is a easier way ...get a 12x1.25 lug nut ( Subby fit ) and thread it on 1st under the boot cover, then spin on your shift knob. This will allow you to adjust the shift know height a bit too.

Now that is classy, I like it a lot. reminds me of the Top Gear episode when Jeremy filled a Merc with cement, and made it a cottage.

I love those lights in the grill! I have been wondering about that for awhile now after getting ideas from newer mustangs and trucks. If I ever get around to it I want to try mounting them closer together.

I'll see your Alabaster Birch Flooring and raise you a Baltic Birch sub woofer box my Dad and I built.

We will also build to any measurements for someone. my .65ft3 sealed box would run someone around 100-125+shipping, if anyone is interested.

Sure there are. I had a completely stock looking setup at first with fullrange speakers in the dash but having pointsource component speakers up top just brings much better sound quality.

Ah, okay, I don't use that IG ish. Guess I'm becoming that old guy, I don't even understand this snapchat ish either.

Thanks! I really like how they turned out, looking at it again though, I do wish I'd done both sets at the same time, the speckling is inconsistent to my eye. But, hey looked a lot better than the straight lime green I was considering doing; way too bright.

Maybe if I redo it someday (after a repaint of the car to white, thanks to the El Paso sun destroying the paint) I'll do them in white with red splatter for a zombie vehicle theme. Or not, lol, might work on someone else's though.
