how do you keep mid day sun glare from becoming an issue in your photos? cant seem to figure that one out...
and IMO it looks like you need to use some restraint on the saturation in some of those... they look good, but a bit unrealistic.
all in all great shots though... i'm still working on mine.

boi, generally with the canons i shoot about 2/3 stop under exposed on bright days to avoid glare, and then adjust slightly in photoshop. to bring it back up, but not much more than auto-contrast. as for the saturation, I was trying a new action to simulate a specific type of film, i agree it took it too far, but since i thought the shots were boring, i left it in for something interesting...

y in gods name are you people taping over your plate??

if your that scared of someone stealing the car, then dont drive it. I bet 2-300 people see the plate # when you drive around town, so who cares who sees it at an autocross event?

But with the clarity of Rob's shots, I can still make out what most of the plates say.

I'd never bothered to tape over my plates before, and now I know that one strip of painter's tape doesn't do squat!

Rob - Get up early next time and DRIVE!
