Ran into shipping problems with jscspeed. Did 2nd day shipping and it was going to take 5days to get here. I wasn't too happy since I needed a part by this weekend and was suppose to receive it friday or sat morning.
Problem was resolved in a very professional manner just as maperformance. They gave me a partial shipping refund for the delay, which is totally awesome. I don't blame jscspeed for it. Fedex doesn't ship to Alaska on the weekends. Alaska has too many shipping issues. Overall experience w/ Jscspeed was great. Also will give A+ for customer service and prices. Will buy from again. Jsc Ftw!!
I had a similar shipping issue last week (thanks FedEx). JSC did a great job communicating with me and I got my AccessPort yesterday.
I give them an A+ for customer service! pdpawd, I think I might have gotten your tracking number because when I checked on my package Friday it said it was going to Alaska? And I'm in Delaware! It was too funny! |

Talked to them on the phone about the Blitz Spec Nur catback. Drove up there from NOVA. Very nice people.
They let us snoop around and take a look at all the goodies they had there. Good people from my experience. |

I ordered a set of injectors from these guys. Great price and great costumer service. Fedex somehow lost my package and they have been very proactive about dealing with this issue and I should have them by this coming week. I plan on using this vendor again!

JSC Speed Drops the Ball
A month ago, JSC Speed had a Cusco GT lip dropped-shipped from Cusco, and the trucking Co. lost the lip.
Instead of sending out another one, JSC Speed informs me that I'll be waiting (a vague) "several weeks" and they "can't do anything about it" while some sort of claim is filed. I've had good service from them, up to this point. Now, This Sucks: Their shipping issue gets made MY Problem, and there's no compensation other than an "Um,we're sorry." That's lame-O. NEWSFLASH: "Sorry" doesn't put a lip I paid for a month ago on my summer-only car. Sooner or later I hope it shows, and I won't be doing any large parcel business with JSC Speed unless they get s**t straight with their distributors and put the customer FIRST. I know GReddy (seriously!) doesn't give a crap about their USDM, maybe Cusco is equally blase'. Oh well, in the future I'll talk with my wallet. |

If I don't see some action soon, I'll reverse the cc charges.
It's unacceptable, HORRIBLE customer service to leave me twisting in the wind for a part I paid about $500 for a month ago. Making JSC's shipper's f**kup My Problem is nothing short of a load of crap. JSC drop-ships most of their merchandise, so if one of their distributors drops the ball I guess it's "not JSC's problem", but the customers. Keep that in mind before you order. |

yeah COBB was very helpful with my problems after JSC was no help at all and even offered to look at my AP just to make sure problem wouldnt happen again. I think ya should know your product if ya sell it I almost felt like when i bought my AP from Aaron from JSC that he didnt care, he just wanted my money. Seriously thinking of buying future mods from elsewere thou...
so in a nut shell COBB +1 JSC -1 |

JSC Speed
So after originally posting and deleting my thread (requested by Rich @ JSC Speed) on this problem, here I am resurfacing the situation.
My background: I have been installing parts, modding cars, building engines for 25 years. I have installed TEIN Flex's and Mono Flex's and EDF's in the past. I have installed well over 100 sets of struts, strut cartridges, springs and coilovers and have never, ever had a single problem. Almost 2 weeks ago a local member brought me BNIB TEIN MONO FLEX's and EDFC's purchased from JSC Speed. First problem: EDFC motors would not fit the bottom of the MonoFlex's. I called JSC Speed and was referred and give TEIN's number. Called TEIN and they asked me to take a side picture of the motors but by the PN the motors should fit. I took a couple side pics of the brand new motors so they "could verrify" that the correct motors were shipped. I immedietly got an email from TEIN stating " that the motors looked damaged". Now I was pissed. How could a side pic of BNIB motors look damaged. I was asked to return the motors to TEIN so I said "I would". Second Problem: My friend decided to install the dampers without the motors until TEIN can figure out the deal. I installed all dampers and everything went smooth as usual. While taking the car on the test drive the passenger rear damper was clunking very bad. The kind of clunking that made it sound like the damper would take the rear window out at anytime. I called JSC Speed and again was told to contact TEIN since they could serve us better. TEIN asked me to return the damper that was suspect. Upon removing from the car I noted there was no charge in the damper. I could recoil it by hand to the bump stop. I made a video of the damper and the 4 EDFC motors and sent the motors and damper to TEIN as requested. TEIN received the box last Monday and called me and told me "an engineer would take the damper apart and inspect for damages and TEIN would call me back." I get a call only after emailing TEIN and asking them for an update. I was told that the engineer could only guestimate $150-275 to repair the damaged damper. I told TEIN that I would need a good estimate so I could let JSC Speed know and I was told that theengineer would take it apart and get me a more accurate estimate. I get a call yesterday after asking TEIN for another update since I was told I could get the damper back by last weekend and still didnt have it. TEIN told me that the engineer still hadnt taken the damper apart and the estimat was now $175. I let them know I was not happy and that I would post up here that "I would not recommend TEIN products anymore". Until now I have always been a huge TEIN supporter. TEIN is blaming the damage to the strut on me. TEIN also told JSC Speed that something was broken off and that had to be caused by installing. Completely different from what they told me. I told TEIN to repair the strut yesterday. It's not the $175 that bothers me, it is their total customer service and or lack of. It sucks at best. JSC Speed should have been the ones to deal with TEIN and not the user/ installer. JSC Speed broke their own policy by asking us to deal with TEIN. TEIN also said that their warranty disclaimer states that only an "Authorized TEIN Distributor" can install TEIN parts and keep the TEIN Warranty. However no where in the owner manual/ install instructions does it say that. Also on TEINS website the "Warrant Page" says " This page is under construction". I made a copy of the page just in case they try to recant the claim. IMPO/ IMO/ IMHO if you are doing business with JSC Speed and or TEIN be very careful. One more comment: I just got off the phone with Rich @ JSC Speed and he asked me for proof of how the items looked prior to the install, just out of the box. If you do buy anything from/ through JSC Speed ensure you take pics of every aspect of the item(s) to CYA. I told Rich why would anybody take a pic of an item that is brand new with no signs of shipping damage and I got just a long sound of silence. (no answer) There was no way you could tell "out of the box" that the damper didnt have a charge. How often do you try to compress a brand new damper? Never in my time, however I will start if dealing with TEIN. I even made a video of everything and took detailed pics prior to shipping the items off. I have dealt with JSC Speed in the past without incident and hopefully this is not a start of things to come. Be forwarned and learn from others mistakes. Jay-R |

Almost a month now and still no injectors!
Fedex F's up and "there is nothing they can do, their hands are tied". Given the other recent posts here I'm starting to worry about my money and parts now. The sad part is that they had been recommended to me by a very reputable shop. Sad, very sad. |

After a month, they called to say that Cusco had refunded THEIR (MY) money for MY lost lip, so now they'd refund mine.
Whooppeeef**k. (Who pays my credit card interest for the month of $500 that was charged? Me, that's who. F**k THAT.) VERY Important to Remember: Japanese domestic parts manufacturers don't give a rat's arse about us, just our money. Once they've added to their profit margin, we can all go get f***ed. JSC needs to stand up for their customers from MINUTE ONE, reading what b.s. other people are going through just amplifies the Issue at Hand. Rennick doesn't play this game, and neither does Importimage or many others I can name. JSC's drop-shipping plain sucks, and I won't be bothering to have my hard-earned money jerked around in the future. |

I like how "new threads" get moved and burried within long threads so no one will read them. New threads get far more attention tan old threads.
I keep getting VM's from Rich @ JSC Speed. Rich- if you are reading this I would like things in writing (PM's/ Emails) from here on out, that way I have actual documentation of what you and TEIN are saying and doing. You have my email address. I do save the VM's for future use if needed. It seeems to be all about the $ for you guys, you need to really get to know your products and MFG's before you sell them, and if a MFG will not stand by their warranty if the consumer installs them there is a problem with the MFG. BTW- Not once did Paul from TEIN ever return my phone calls, Emails as I told you on the phone. It's not about the $ seriously $175 to repair a BNIB part. It's about accusations and pre-determinations. I do not charge local members one penny for installs or mods, I really dont care about the $175 but I do care about "word of mouth" and the power of the net. Jay-R |
