Default STI clutch VS WRX clutch

So i am trying to do a swap, putting the STI into my WRX. Everywhere i read it says i need the 6 speed clutch and flywheel to do the swap.

My question is WHY????

The clutch in my car is in good shape, and i cant see what the differences are between the two. I have the 6 speed one, and it looks to me like its in much worse shape than mine is. So if i dont HAVE to change them, i would much rather not.

You don't NEED at 6MT clutch now as long as your 5MT one will hold your torque level. When you upgrade though, you should swap over to the 6MT stuff though.

Any reason to not use the STI clutch? I had the two side by side recently and I can't see anyone intentionally choosing the WRX unit except the flywheel might be lighter.
