Default Subaru Wagons listed first on 10 Used Cars that Seem to Last Forever

http://comcast.vehix.com/automotive/...cid=44&artpg=1

I found this report on the automotive website vehix.com. It is a dated article from last month, but I was unaware of any postings here.

It puts 'subaru wagon' on the top of its list of vehicles. While not an award or achievement per se, I think it deserves some mentioning none the less.

Cool

I tend to agree with that statement! I see alot of older Subaru wagons on a daily basis in my travels, going back to 1990 and sometimes earlier models!
If you take good care of them, you can't kill them, it seems!
Keep it under 90, folks!

Too bad Subaru doesn't sell a true wagon in the US anymore.

When they got to that number I think they received a blow to the head and mistook "around forever" for "there are currently far too many"

Yeah, from three wagon models to zero in three years.

What the hell do you call the Outback?
It's as much as wagon as you can get.

<------ Rockin' Suby wagons, regardless of what SOA markets them as.

The Forester could also legitimately be called a 'true wagon'.

I'd be driving an 08 LGT wagon if it were available when I bought. 6 subarus, 4 of them wagons owned over the years.

I agree Hondaslayer. No one is demanding mutual exclusivity. The Outback is now a tall wagon like an XC70.

Of course, none of these terms are really real. Other than legal terms such as light vehicle, light truck etc.. the rest is just words.

Around here, there are a ton of old wagons. If you walk down the street in the vicinity of the downtown area you're very likely to hear ticking noises.

You guys are fun to bait.

Yeah, I'd say Subaru has 3 crossovers, a hatch and two sedans... the way I see it.

It's worth noting that you see most of them in places that get the worst weather.

Although how the Jeep Cherokee didn't get on that list, I don't know.

I use to see a ton of them here in Vegas, but now not so much. Perhaps it was because they were the only SUV's you saw taken off road
