While it's pretty cool that they may be working on an E92 CSL, don't get your hopes up if you're in the US. They didn't sell the last CSL (with the carbon fiber roof) here, and they probably won't sell the new one here either. Homologation costs are just too great for such a limited production car.

you do realize the current M3 and M6 hardtops have the carbon fiber roof right.

Yes. My reference to the carbon fiber roof was to clarify that the "real" CSL was never sold in the US. There was a "Competition Package" that was sold here that had many of the components of the CSL, but not all, including not having the CF roof. Some people have a tendency to refer to that competition package as a CSL (at least on some of the Autotrader listings I've seen), which it was not.

Meh..this is Autoexpress, seeing that no other news site has even mentioned it, I highly doubt we will ever see a M3 CSL.

This will be cool if it comes out...and like the last CSL will probably never be sold in the US, so irrelevant.
