Default How can you tell the difference between a EJ207 V7,V8, and V9?

What are some easy things to notice

V7 came with vf30/34 single scroll turbo
V8 ?
V9 came with vf36/37 twin scroll turbo

Look at the engine code sticker on the timing covers.

visually intercoolers are also different, V7 has short intake mani runners

The intercoolers get mixed up at the JDM vendors alot, so that is not a good indication of what motor you're looking at.

Easiest=Engine code on passenger timing cover
