Default STi wagon rear strut brace

Does STi even make one for the wagon? i have been lookin around but so far none of the places specify if the applications are for the wagon or for the sedan, and as i understand it most places sell the sedan strut bars by default, can anyone help me? I'm looking for both the front and back struts, cusco, whiteline, or STi would be great. Thx!

Rallispec lists an STi wagon bar, their part# RST-2093, $265.00. No picture though....

Irvine listed wagon bars from Whiteline for like $75.00 a couple of weeks ago....don't know if they still have any, but that's cheap!

See link.....

I'd like to see pics of the STi bar....

Okay, I've seen the STi Rear Strut Tower bars for the wagon on the dealer modified wagon at Thousand Oaks, Subaru. I noticed that they had to cut laterally, through the sidewall strut tower carpeting, rather than through cap. The whiteline rear strut allows you to cut through the cap. If you look into the rear of the wagon, you'll know what I mean. I have no idea on the installation of the Cusco struts. Any one have any ideas? I've been looking for a while now.

I'll try to shoot the STi bar at the dealer... if they let me. =)

Actually, you need to cut laterally, through the sidewall strut tower carpeting for the Whiteline as well.

The only bar where you only have to cut the cap and not the sides is the Cusco bar, which is why I have one

Here's a pic:

Dear WagonMonster,

I read otherwise, but I'll take your word for it since you have what I want.

Can you PLEASE tell me where you got your bar, how much you got it for, and what the part number is? I've been wanting that Cusco bad boy for while. Thanks!

Dear WagonMonster,

Just wondering, do you know which one is it?

Cusco Rear OS Bar
Code: wrx666541a
Price: $155.00

or

Cusco Rear 40mm Rear Bar
Code: wrx666526a
Price: $190.00

That would really help out, since your install looks SOO clean and nice.

Hey driggity,

I'm not sure this will answer your question, but if you look at this site:

http://www.takakaira.co.jp/

it will show the variation of the different tower struts.

Click "performance parts", then "CUSCO"

Thanks. It looks like the 40 is a cylinder while the OS is "flat". I guess the 40 is stronger then. Anyone know of a place that has these in stock?

Hey driggity,

I took WagonMonster's suggestions and e-mailed (i-club name: bottle) from Titan Motorsports about the availiability, and he said the 40mm Rear Bar is in stock. So, I ordered mine last night. You can also try Vivid Racing

http://www.vividracing.com/index.php

or Irvine Subaru and Cobb.

I still would like to know how the other bars: (Whiteline, Zerosports...etc.) look like.
