Spring Cleaning Sale: HKS Carbon Ti catback exhaust - $600 (MD/VA only)
HKS Carbon Ti 95mm catback exhaust system (Subaru WRX/STi) - $600!!
A clean like new HKS Carbon Ti cat back! As per the HKS-USA website... This is a high performance lightweight & freeflowing catback exhaust designed for show, street and racing. Special Edition HKS Carbon / Titanium Hi-Power Exhaust system consists of a carbon fiber wrapped stainless muffler shell, a 120mm titanium tip, and polished stainless steel piping. Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Special Edition HKS Carbon Titanium Hi-Power Exhaust systems are exclusively available for certain popular applications. These exclusive versions of the Hi-Power Exhaust consist of a carbon fiber wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping. Part# 3112-EX005 (SUBARU Impreza WRX STI 2004 Turbo) MSRP $950.00 There is a secondary mid-pipe as well as gaskets and mounting hardware included though not pictured. - Janq [email protected]

After sitting on it for a month waiting to get it installed I did so and quickly discovered it was too loud for my neighborhood. I was waking up my then 1 yr. old from her naps & sleep time everytime I'd come or go. Also I heard via the neighborhood grapevine that I was also waking the children of my next door neighbors on both sides. I removed it three weeks later after a neighbor who prior and since has never so much as aknowledged my existance came over to my side of our shared fence and remarked that my car (STi) was cool and it sounded fast. I'd had the STi for nearly 4 months prior and she'd not said a word to me up to two weeks after I installed the exhaust. Now it's not that the thing is TurboXS RFL loud. It's actually fine and has a sweet rumble. But when you have a 1 yr. old and neighbors with then 2 yr.old triplets and another with a 2 & 4 yr. old all stay at home moms, well the right thing to do is to remove it which is what I did. It's been sitting in my basement since wrapped in Glad bags. Mrs. Janq has been bugging me for ages to sell it but I've been reluctant thinking I'd reinstall it some day. Well it's been a year and reality is some day has come and gone... Thats the deal and feel free to run a search as I've told the same tale times prior throughout NASIOC general and OT in months prior to today. BTW, if the distance isn't too nutty I'll throw it in the trunk and deliver it for free as part of BabyJanq and my weekly sunday drive. - Janq Last edited by Janq; 04-05-2005 at 11:49 PM. |

I don't need another exhaust at this point as I just want cash. It'll finance two handguns I'm purchasing via another board from a private owner. - Janq |
