You should have just said you were washing your hair if you didn't want to hang out with us. It would have been more believable.

If the group times it right, they can probably make the table jump.

CNs: Asinine got a few beers in him and then sat at the other side of the table speculating loudly (and sometimes accurately) on my hand in various rounds of Texas Hold 'Em.

I did pretty well for what was essentially my second time playing, outlasted a couple of people and had a pretty commanding stack, then blew it chasing a stupid chance.

I've since installed a Hold 'Em game on my phone so I can practice up.

What do you mean "a few?" And what do you mean "sometimes?"

You were right about my 10-King hand that one time, but it was okay because no one believed you were right so I won the pot anyway.

I don't think you got any other hand that accurately. You'd guess that I had a 7 or something... maybe, maybe not.

You forgot to draw the collection of empties you & Jard had going on. But you get +1 for the clamps.

Dude, that's enough glass to mosaic your new bathroom!

Next time I'll haul over a 1/2 case. I didn't expect the evening to go on as long as it did.

Suited Aces?

That'd be tricky on a single deck...

It was a classic shootout between Asinine and Turbojon.

They ended up with roughly equal stacks, shuffling and dealing both decks and playing nearly silently. Then I hear "all in" after about an hour.

Chris had gone all in with a pair of Aces pre-flop. Jon followed him with (I believe) and ace-ten. Chris took the pot, left Jon with about $10.

Jon then proceeded to slowly win his way back to even as Chris could NOT put him away for the next hour.

Then JON went all-in pre-flop with HIS pair of aces, Chris followed (I forget what he had) and Jon took the table.

It was a tough fight.

Came down to John and I. I was delt AA and got a pre-flop all-in call from him. Took him down to a 6 to 1 chip disadvantage. However, he was just too cagey, and we ended up even again. On the last hand, I flopped a set of 8s, but he had AA in the hole (and one on the table) and it held up. But hell, if someone besides me was going to win, I'd want it to be the host.

Ya think? And don't let him talk you into seeing what's "in his hole".
