Angry Screwed By Pa Tard Cops Agian

I was driving back to college tonight (Penn College) and I was in Mill Hall right next to Lock Haven when I look in my rear view, And there is a PIG trying to make some money off of my ass. So when he got out of the car and came over to me I was very polite to him, because I do respect some of the things cops do for us. And he asked me do you know what I pulled you over for, and I said no, because I didn’t, I was on a 3 hour trip and I was doing 60 mph most of the time on the big roads and the speed limit in the towns, it turns out that he had lasers and all kinds of **** set up right where the speed limit changes from a 55 to a 45 right down a hill too. After he gave me my ticket for 15 mph over the limit and $124.00, I told him that he just pulled me over cause I was a teenager driving a nice car (probably nicer than all of his crappy families combined). So now I am very angry I was just watching the road and keeping the pace of traffic and now I am going To lose my license for a month, after months of a clean record and no speeding cause SOME STUPID COP HAS TO MAKE A MONTHLY QUOTA!!!!!!! I know there is some cops that are I-clubbers, at least you got taste but you guys should consider new jobs. I CANT WAIT FOR THE TURBO TO BE IN MY CAR I AM NEVER STOPPING FOR THOSE BITCHES AGAIN!!!!

COPS ARE TOOLS OF THE SYSTEM!!!! RIP OFF SOME MORE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS!!!!!!

***** THE POLICE ***** THE POLICE ***** EM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still pissed but I found this really funny 64 ways to make Cops mad
1) When you get pulled over, say "What's wrong, ossifer, there's no blood in my alcohol?"
2) When he asks why you were speeding, tell him you wanted to race.
3) When he talks to you, pretend you are deaf.
4) If he asks if you knew how fast you were going, say no, my speedometer only goes to......
5) Touch him.
6) When he asks why you were speeding, tell him you had to buy a hat.
7) Ask him where he bought his cool hat.
8) Refer to him by his first name.
9) Pretend you are gay and ask him out.
10) When he says no, cry.
11) If he says yes, accuse him of sexual harassment.
12) If the cop is a woman, tell her how ugly she is, but in a nice way.
13) If he asks you to step out of the car, automatically throw yourself on the hood..
14) When he asks you to spread them, tell him you don't go that way.
15) When he puts the handcuffs on, say "Usually my dates buy me dinner first"
16) Ask to be fingerprinted with candy, cause you don't like ink on your fingers.
17) After you sign the ticket and give it to him, say "Oops! That's the wrong name."
18) Bribe him with donuts, and when he agrees, tell him sorry, I just ate the last one.
19) When he comes up to the car, say "License and registration, please" right when he says it.
20) When he goes to read you your rights, sing "La La La, I can't hear you!"
21) Trip and fall into him.
22) Accuse him of police brutality when he pushes you away.
23) Before you sign the ticket, pick your nose. You have to sign with his pen.
24) Chew on the pen, nervously.
25) Clean your ear with the pen.
26) If it's a click pen, take it apart and play with the spring.
27) Ask if he has a daughter. If he says yes, say I thought the name sounded familiar.....
28) Ask him if he ever worked in a prison. If he says yes, ask him how the plumbing was.
29) Act like you are retarded.
30) When he's telling you what you did wrong, start repeating him, quietly.
31) Or mumble to yourself.
32) When he tells you to stop, say what are you talkin about, DUDE?
33) Drive to Dunkin Donuts and say hmmm....only 5 of you here tonight.......
34) Ask if they know how to make the donuts.
35) When he comes to the car, say I have a badge just like yours!
36) Ask if he watches Cops.
37) Ask if ever watched Cop Rock.
38) Giggle if he did.
39) Talk to your hand.
40) Ask if he knows someone named Rosy Palm and her Five Favorite Friends.
41) Accuse him of Sexual Harassment if he does.
42) When he frisks you, say You missed a spot, and grin.
43) When he asks to inspect your car, say there is no alcohol in my car, sir, the last cop got it.
44) Try to sell him your car.
45) Ask if you can buy his car.
46) If he takes you to the station, Ask to sit in front.
47) Play with the siren.
48) If you know him, say you had his wife for dinner.
49) If you don't know him, ask if you can have his wife for dinner.
50) Oops...I meant OVER for dinner.
51) Ask if he ever had pun-tang.
52) If he asks what it is, point at him and giggle.
53) If there is someone else in the car, talk to each other in tongues.
54) When he acts confused, keep talking, look at him and laugh.
55) When you are in the back, touch his neck through the fencing.
56) Turn your head and whistle.
57) When he pulls out his night stick, say what you gonna do with that.
58) If you are female, say I don't do that on the first date.
59) If he sticks you in the back of the car, cower in the corner, suck your thumb, and whine.
60) Ask if you can see his gun.
61) When he says you aren't allowed, tell him I just wanted to see if mine was bigger.
62) Stare at his lights and say "Look at the pretty colors!"
63) Tell him you like men in uniform.
64) Ask if you can borrow his uniform for a Halloween party.

"I told him that he just pulled me over cause I was a teenager driving a nice car (probably nicer than all of his crappy families combined"

aaarhahahaha! thats my favorite bit right there anyway, thanks for worrying about our compensation. however, just as an example; an Eatontown Patrolman (local town) tops off at close to 100K a year (as of their new contract). so i think it's safe to say that your Japanese econo-box is not making any of your local "road nazis" jealous.

when you get a little older and learn to accept accountability for your own actions you may look back at experiences like this one with a more philosophical perspective... if not, have a nice ANGRY life...

Um, if you were in fact doing 60 in a 45, then you deserve the ticket. Take some responsibility. It sucks but everybody lives by the same rules...

I'm not a big fan of the 5-0 when it comes to traffic situations, i do have the utmost respect for the other facets of their job. I think speed traps should be illegal when set up in spots where it's almost impossible not to speed (such as at the bottom of a hill where the speed limit changes from 55 to 45). The cops are given too much freedom to pick and choose who to give a ticket to. I got pulled over in Philly a couple years ago for doing almost 100mph in a 45. The cop let me go without even a written warning. Then last year in a suburb of Philly I got pulled over for a CLEAR license plate cover and given a $100 ticket for it. I even offered to take it off when pulled over. The only reason i had it on there was to try to keep people from stealing my registration sticker. I got out of that ticket in court and the cop got reprimanded by the judge because she wrote the ticket instead of letting me remove the cover. IMO, if you want to scrutinize drivers, revoke licenses of those 100 year old people doing 25 in a 45 on a one lane road....they're the ones causing road rage and accidents.

I agree that curcumstances under which you got a ticket do kind of suck. What sucks more though is, that when presented w/ an opportunity to take a nuetral stance and try to get Speedracer and possibly any other I-clubber(like myself) to see the flip side of the coin, M8 just rubs in our face the very reason we think cops are D!@ks. Remeber you were a regular shmoe like the rest of us once. Think about that next time you get pulled over and flash your badge to get off the hook. I also think it's a shame that officer's in Eatontown get paid so much...i've been there and they are getting paid way to much to pull people over and such. My best friend is a Jersey city PO, I believe they cap off in the high 70...and it's well deserved. Why you ask? Incase one day he decides to get plastic surgery to take care of the burn marks he got answering a call about a father high on drugs about to drop his baby in a pot of hot water. He can also use that money trying to repair the damage that was done to his ear, while trying to stop some guys from beating up a kid...he was off duty at the time, I can go on. This guy has taken crap from alot of people, but i''ll tell you this...if he had rep speedracer's post, he would have either A) told him that he should be more careful and at the end of the day they can do it under the law, but that yeah it sucks...then made a joke, in good taste, or B) kept his mouth shut and not contribute to the negative feelings people have torwards police officers. Keep that in mind next time M8...the next kids buttons you push, might be the one waiting for you behind a tinted window of a car w/ a gun pointed at you. Hey, at least you would have earned your keep.

Thank you gentlemen that is all...

Hey Rated Rex,

i don't work in eatontown, but thanks for the hot tip about tinted windows. as for earning my keep by having a gun pointed at me, well i've already earned my keep by your definition: do i get more credibility because they pulled the trigger too? please. i don't need to convince anyone here of the other side of the coin: i spent my first few months here doing that... people have their prejudices and preconceptions and are usually very happy to hold onto them. take for example your inference that police officers that work in more obviously hazardous enviroments (jersey city Vs. eatontown) are "more deserving" of their pay. i have news for you; a police officer's compensation is based on what he/she MAY have to do; or rather what he/she is WILLING to do should the need arise. enforcing the motor vehicle laws that YOU AGREED to abide by, when you took the test to get your DL, takes up (maybe) 10% of my shift. any cop, from the NYPD to a local campus cop will go into harm's way if the need arises. the PAPD (port authority NY/NJ) has long been considered one of the cushiest jobs in this area, well paid, they don't have to deal with many of the things that their city and municipal counterparts deal with: guess who were the first on the scene on the 11th of september? PAPD... it's about what they are willing to do.

having said all that, i'd be the first to admit that i threw fuel on the fire with my first post. i did it to wind up the thread starter, his initial post was combative and irrational: and hey, i wanted to push his buttons a little do i talk to people that way when i interact with them at work? hell no...

no offense, but why don't you just pay the ticket. Consider it re-payment for the 100s of times you probably actually been speeding. It's just a tax for speeding. If you don't like it, don't speed.... Plain and simple.

Default Tickets

Giving an officer an attitude will get you nowhere. I got pulled ovver twice the week of july 4th bith times by state troopers. I found a safe place and pulled over immediately, I was very polite to the trooper, and admitted that I knew that i was speeding. For my trouble I got 1 $60 ticket for a license plate cover and 1 warning.
On the other hand I got pulled over by the local police in the quiet suburb that I call home. I was going down a hill where the limit goes from 45 to 30 , it was 1am on a friday and there wasn't another car in sight. I got pulled over and recieved a ticket for going 45.39 mph in a 30. I will fight this one in court. No disrespect to oficers, I KNOW that they have quotas to fill and I know that this is especially true in a low-crime area like where i live. I just wish that they would stop using speeding tickets as a revenue generation device. I would accept the cost of the ticket if there wasn't a corresponding hike in insurance rate. But with both of them together one minor speeding ticket can cost you $500 or more. Just be nice and hope for the best. If you are going to lose your license then HIRE A LAWYER, if you can afford a nice subie then you can affor $300 or so to keep your license.
Good luck

Riigggghhht...Hey you don't need to convince me. You reap what you sow...Attitude like that will get ya in trouble one day or burn you out. Just trying to remind you of that. As far your comment on what Police officer's "may or may not have to do"...no offence guy, but like I said before. I been around your neck of the woods and the worst thing you'll probably ever have to deal w/(knock on wood) is getting caught on the wrong end of some cow being tipped over...j/k ! Trying to keep this on the lighter side...some people get a little sensitive. One of the things that always stuck w/ me growing up is what my freinds dad said to us one time(he's a cop also). It went something along the lines of "being a cop isn't like any other job, you don't get to stop being a cop at the end of the day. It's not just a job, it's a commitment to a way of life.", he told us that after he heard us talking about how we wanted to be cops when we grow up and what cool stuff we can get away w/ and how we would get back at some of the people we didn't like.

Well I've allways had trouble playing within another's "rules" but hey the law is the law and if you cant do the time don't do crime..

my only problem is the "buisness" of law enforcement. when rules are put in place to do nothing but generate revenue, that I have a problem with.. one paticular street in my neiborhood is a perfect example it's 2 lanes wide both sides and straight with 1 cross street in a mile, and feilds on both sides.. the speed limit is 25 directly following a 45 MPH road which is narrower.. of course the 25 mph zone is littered with Vascar stripes.. wonder why..

or the cameras on the stoplights in jersey to catch red light runners, funny but when they installed them they also cut the yellow time by a signigifant margin, I see no purpose but to generate revenue.

I honestly feel taxing drivers properly and increasing fines for CRIMINIAL activity would be better then penalizing speeders or tricking people into getting fined.

Proper tests for license rather then a points system, heck I have enough points for 10 free toasters. I admit I drive fast, and I have paid the price dearly by serving a few license suspensions..

lucky for me I have a good lawyer that handles these issues in a timley maner and for a decent price.. It's really a shame that instead of taxing and training drivers to handle their cars properly the government finds it nessessery to control drivers by a "Fear of god" philopshy, all the time generating revenue for more traffic enforcment.. and limiting speeds so any ididiot can drive at the speed limit rather then not licensing the idiots or training them in the first place. I am amazed they gave me (or anyone) a license at 16 knowing what I know today.

now I don't fear god either, but that's a whole nother rant.
