Default Chrysler reveals small sedan from Fiat to its dealers

Quote:
The basis for Chrysler’s intended alliance with Fiat is for the latter to provide its domestic partner with smaller and more fuel economical platforms and drivetrains. Although there were previous speculations that the Fiat 500 would be one of the cars Chrysler intends to bring to the US market, there are reports coming out that the carmaker may have more than that in store. Reports say that Chrysler gave its dealers a preview of its future products today in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and together with the brand new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Chrysler 300 which was modified by Fiat was also present. Chrysler told dealers that it plans to have its own variant of the car, with Fiat supplying the chassis and Chrysler taking care of exterior design. Although reports didn’t say which Fiat was exhibited, educated guesses however point to the Fiat Bravo as the most likely candidate, which, if true, would offer Chrysler a real heir to the Neon after its 2006 termination.
