Default Crashed my WRX 08... Rebuild Project!!!

Hi there!
My name is Omar and im 25 y/o, Im from Mexico and 7 months ago sold my R56 Mini and got the WRX 08 (very rare car here in Mexico) ima petrol head...

Was a track boy with my R56 MINI (Challenge style) and loved to track it a lot...

Now then want some type of rally cross or basic rally setup...

This is my wrx 08 with 40k miles

Days after painted the wheels, take off the big exhaust box to make some boxer noise and modified the grill...

And rally it was PURE LOVE when take it to a mountain trip and...

And all was happiness and perfection until..

Nobody get hurts, a Peugeot hit me and after a lot of situations the best way was everybody take its own car to do what ever want...

The car is in a good condition instead the front.... don't know how to say... it do not twist its structure... it is fine (thats amazing)

Now need advices... pictures of projects, stuff like that to give me strength to do this (and yes... a lot of time and money) BUT IT DESERVES!

Now in the garage of a friend... the engine is down right now...

Need to change the cam gears , the cam gears cover and the timing belt kit...

Going to the STI front conversion... (already saw pictures of narrow body hatchback with STI front and love it.)

Wow! Looks like it was totalled. It's a great thing you can rebuild it!

I agree. I thought it'd be totaled. I'm surprised to see that you are rebuilding it.

Way to turn a bad thing into a positive.

In the US it may have been totaled, in Mexico, maybe not. Depends on how insurance works there.

Want to put my battery in the trunk, eliminate the second air pump (smog) and eliminate the windshield water tank to make more room in the engine bay... anyone already done that??

Aaannd... how can I delete the airbag light, going to put an MOMO steering wheel.

Where's the arc wing? I've seen one on your body style before, didn't look that great. I wonder what it'll look like on yours. Best of luck with everything.

You gotta find some rear fender flares that can help the widebody look. have you looked into HT autos fender flares? Not sure if it will work on yours but its worth a shot to ask them
