I am a little disappointed in the numbers overall. I have about 20 passes on the car stock and ran a best of 13.7 which i dont have the slip so i put the 13.8 which i was running consistently. I was all over the board tonight with the best being a 13.45 and most of my times in the 13.9 - 14's range, which was due to 2.0 '60 foot times. I have been trying to slip the clutch about 5k but i think im holding on a little to long and its causing bad '60 foot times. Also where are you guys shifting at? The guy I talked to at Torqued Performance said to shift @ 6k because our cams aren't making any more power passed that, he said with his stage 1 map which im running that the shift goes up to 6700 RPMs, but passed 1st gear theres no need to go that high. The track was about average for Charlotte NC summer (90 degrees and humid) but was extremely inconsistent. Any pointers would be great i was really hoping for 13.20's with my SPT CBE and TP stage 1 flash.

Ran a 13.3 @ 102.4 in my 2011 wrx.
However, im running the reflash with launch control and flat foot shifting. The first to second shift is probably the most important shift. I shift here at 6300 rpms to prevent the motor from bogging in next gear. This seems to be working well as ive pulled off a 1.89 60 ft. At the top of third i shift at 6300 so i can spend a little time in 4th gear

whats your altitude? numbers seem pretty decent. 13.20s are around the corner, id try shifting closer to 5800 though, the vf52 falls on its face after 6k. as far as launching techniques, practice makes perfect, find an empty parking lot and play with different techniques. you will get it down soon enough

I am running 1.80 - 1.9 '60 foots pretty regular, so I am obviously not shifting at the right RPM's. I am a bigger guy at 310 but still i think 101 trap is pretty retarded. Now how do i put launch control in i know nothing about that. Elevation is about 720 ft.

Do you have a Cobb AP? If so, just go to Cobb's site and plug in your tune, it will spit out the same tune with LC/FFS added.

I ran a 12.82 @ 105 with a 1.78 60ft with my 2010 WRX (stg2) with a TP tune set to run only 18psi instead of the normal 19psi. I set FFS at 4300rpm and let out the clutch fast and smooth to slip it only a bit. I got faster times by revving the piss out of my car, 1-2 shift at 6900, 2-3 and 3-4 at 6700, and really blasting it into gear. I picked up 2-3 tenths by shifting higher and faster than I did earlier in the same night. I'm also a bigger dude (about 265) and I had my tools in the trunk and didn't take out the spare or jack.

Hope this helps!

"90 degrees and humid" on your turbo car with a TMIC is a bigger deal than you think it is. You're doing fine.
