Anyone know how many wheels a can will coat? I want to get a good coat on my winter wheels before putting them on, and still have some for next spring.

Hmm, 6 different accounts, usernames related, less than 5 one-liner posts, some in OT related to spam, and created within the last 48 hrs. You think this is fun or something?

I don't recommend the Armor All protector for wheels that have been powder coated a light color.
I recently got mine powder coated white this summer and now there are streaks of faint (but still visibly disturbing) lime green.

Lime green sounds like rim cleaner at the self serve car wash "power washer".

I got some for my stock gold bbs, cuz they got pretty dirty after a couple days of driving. First clean the wheels really good then apply. The next time i wash them (a week to week and half longer then before) I just spray them off with water and they look good, not great but good. Then usually the next wash I have to start from scratch. Clean them really good with soap and brush then reapply. All in all I'm happy with the results. Oh yeah I also used it on my wife's car. The rims don't get as dirty as quick as mine, (even with putting on more miles) and her rims look really good. They haven't needed to be cleaned yet in over 3 weeks. Her wheels are stock VW brushed aluminum. As I said before I'm pretty happy with the results.

Ill be driving about 400 miles starting tomorrow through some serious crap. Snow, salt, crap roads, dirt, everything. So we will see how well this stuff stands up to that, along with mend powerlock or whatever thats called.

I came to the exact same conclusion. Works GREAT when dry but in the rain the dust just clings on to the wheels somehow and it doesn't hose off anymore ( which it did when the wheels didn't get wet)

I have white wheels and low dust pads btw. I made few video's from various km's driven and even coated only half of one wheel to show the difference. Lots of video's and pics but i haven't got the time yet to shove it all into one video.

I haven't given up on yet though ... the wheels stay alot cleaner and for longer than they did without any protection and it's way better than rimwax.

Sonax full effect wheel cleaner is a highly effective, acid-free and pH balanced rim and wheel cleaner that is safe for all wheels, including aluminum and alloys. This formulation is also effective and safe for use on painted wheels and will not deteriorate clear coats.

Sonix it meh..it takes as much elbow grease as soap and water. I have Brembos and I think I used a smart wax spray and my calipers in front stayed cleaner then the backs after 2 months. Uh IMO brembos have better dustless pads then say a BMW which I have owned and man those dam pads dust like no other. 30 miles in a bmw is the 200 miles on the Porsche lol. I think the only cure is wash once a week
