Well that wasn't enough so I hired Mike Botti to etune my car and we ended up at 600awhp. Granted this is all on E85 lol, so here we are a few months later. I hired Taylor Curtis of Taylordtuning ( friends with Josh Bader ) and let me tell you we ended up with 741AWHP. Update April 7th 2022: My latest revision with Mike Botti with 34psi. Street map 40psi with estimated 875whp https://youtu.be/tStLVVgRa3s

Two cheap modifications that will gain you another 70-80whp
1. Exhaust bypass with EWG https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showpost.php?p=46416698&postcount=1 2. Blox racing velocity stack with a long intake. Having fresh cold air beats a shorter intake tract sucking hot air Thank me later |

Was going to mention velocity stack Although that 257 doesn't need any more power LOL My money's on it blowing up within 30K. |

Yup have fun with the open dump + open exhaust sound
Your 3” exhaust is a restriction at those power levels. It costs lots of money to do 4” exhaust and it might be too loud. Therefore the wastegate exhaust cutout is the most economical solution for massive power gains without the noise and cost |

15psi spring (opens once turbo hits 15psi) if you want to terrorize your local Main Street without speeding then go with the 7psi spring
You will definitely need a retune |

Bigger exhaust, and either open of ideally velocity stack.
In general terms, usually, but not always the case... If boost goes up and no more power, exhaust side is the choke. If boost does not go up, it's a cold side restriction. |

Well it made more boost at one point, but then we advanced the AVCS and made more power and faster spool, but that’s when we’d add more WGDC and nothing. Granted it’s spicy timing and a decent AFR lol And the last few pulls I even took off the air filter so it was just the open turbo and still nothing more |

Oh definitely lol…. But then again there’s built short blocks that don’t last very long that cost 2-3x of factory unit! So the return on investment wasn’t so great then either. Idk these type RA motors are stronger then people give credit, I mean mine has a good 20-30 hits above 600whp and 10ish above 700whp and still goin lol. I’m far beyond impressed Josh Bader just tuned a stock long block @812 whp and JR tuned one @814whp recently |

I would be willing to bet its the fact that the short-block is brand new + all your over the top mods and tuning vs the actual RA short-block being significantly stronger. Lots of tuner's I've spoken to agree with me on this, the RA block is overhyped. EJ pistons aren't known for breaking at the wrist pin so this structural change shouldn't really change much in terms of overall power and torque capabilities. Let us know when she let's go, eh? |

Yes definitely! Everything about my car only has few thousand miles lol… so if it was to go @30K well that’s another 8 years away atleast. I definitely didn’t go this route for reliability or dependability. I just wanted bragging rights ha |

Definitely understand bragging rights LOL
Be curious to know how this setup performs in the quarter mile if it wasn't running on rubber bands |
