Strip the wire back about 1/2 an inch solder it and then bend it in half. Stick it into the cluster connector and silicone it in place. this is all i did and it has worked for about 10K with no problems.

I don't wanna have to buy an entire harness for that one stupid pin. Could anyone please help. What can I do or where can I get this pin from?

most dealerships will have a "terminal repair kit" in either parts or service that should have the pin you need.

^^^Yea, I've been reading mix reviews on the scoobymod page.

Some say it doesn't work, but some say it does work.

The illumination is probably on the cluster itself like mine is. press the odometer pin until you see Ill. Then use the other pin to change it up or down.

i just tried that but when i use the other pin it changes my red line light. I want to be able to change it from the controls on the indicator knob.

since the wires are already there for the illumination, can't i just wire them to the correct port? but i also don't know which wire is which.

I believe on the 06-07 you can not alter the illumination with the stalks on the gauge cluster. you have two options really and they are discussed in detail in a devoted thread in this forum or on scooby mods, but i think its here on nasioc. Basically you can either control the cluster OR youre dash with the stalk. Alternatively you could just wire in a potentiometer and mount it somewhere to control the cluster independently. search around some.

It's not a 2.2 ohm resistor. The diagram says it's a 2.2 K ohm resister. Thats 2200 ohm resistor right?
