Thumbs up Engine Vin Numbers(Swappers Read)

Ok here is a list for you guys so you know what engine and tranny you got!! If you need other info as in what turbo or compression just drop me a pm. I am only doing up to Ver IV if you need 5 or 6 let me know. I currently am working on getting the Ver VII and Ver VIII specs. As soon as I have them I will post em!!!

how about the legacy RS motors as they are poping up quite regularly as cheep swap motors...

The older Legacies got EJ20D's and EJ20G's...newer ones get EJ20H's in the twin turbos...I would post a comprehensive list if I had one, but at least you have something to start with...

Sorry but none of the recent publications list anything on V7 or V8 yet. As for the Legacy, Jaxx since you asked I will get you something on here by the end of the week!!

My car has the ej20gdw1he would I be correct to assume that has a closed deck? And that it has forged pistons, I heard that rumour as well.

As far as the EJ20K engines, what is the difference between the KDW6HE(WRX) and the KD7PR (WRX STI)? Both are 280 PS..

Im not sure if Im in the correct place but I need help with a 2005 legacy jdm swap. Im not sure what I need if I canmakes this work. Im about to buy a jdm legacy gt long block engine to swap my bad usdm legacy engine, will this engine work with no issues or do I need ECU, harness or can I used the one i got onthe car now, and also will it passw smoke in california, can any one please help.
