Oh, the mildew? I noticed that when you spray the taillights with water, the water does seep into the crevices so that might be why you get mildew. I think the only way to get it out is probably to take off the taillights and then spray it with something that kills the mildew then rinse it all out with water. Or you might end up having to scrub it all after taking the things apart (which is undesirable).

+1 for Celery

Took some pics of my STI tonight. 750 miles now. RCE Yellows, STI lip, SPT exhaust, S205 side emblem, side window trim, and Lamix-X tails are going on tomorrow.

Celery GT-S comes in every few days and no matter what the topic of conversation is he will try to start an argument about it. It has been publicly stated by many people that this is disruptive, immature, and inappropriate for this thread. He may not be the only one who argues, but he is always involved and he will never let things go. He is a troll in every sense of the word. He is completely selfish and feels this thread is a way to entertain himself and since it is a public forum he can do as he pleases with no regard to others.

I suggested that we should vote on how many people think he should stop posting in this thread. As an attention whore he has agreed to this, but he does not have the common courtesy to realize that offending 1 or 2 people is enough to stop doing something. He has "mandated" that there must be 25 people within a 12 hour period who will publicly tell him to hit the road before he will agree. Here is a summary of the related posts:

Here is the list so far:

[*]Jive Turkey[*]Celery GT-5 (Yes, he actually voted for himself to leave this thread, but that's not enough to actually do it. He needs 24 other people to tell him)[*]xluben[*]besthaticouldo[*]rsutton[*]atf78[*]olazy[*]J_Maher_WRX[*]thatsilverwrx[*]Themmhmmmm[*]MADMIKE874[*]ionoo

I highly doubt it will hit his self-imposed limit of 25 people in the next few hours (simply due to lack of activity in general), but the fact that he had at least 1 person per hour telling him to leave seems to get the point across to me. A few claimed they weren't "voting" but their general message was that trolling and bickering should stop. Some of these people rarely post, but still took the time to post in regard to this topic (and this isn't the first time this has happened either). Since the mods will obviously not do anything about this (at best they will delete or lock the thread), I can only hope that he will have the decency to exit this thread on his own. But I doubt that will happen.
Lol really? The point of the 25 person by midnight thing was to prove that no one really pays attention to this thread that closly. But I can assure you way more than 25 people read that post and couldn't care less. Get a real problem.

All I ever do is respond to their attacks...their being rsutton(who I don't talk to aside from maybe complimenting his paint and wheels), xluben, besthaticouldo (who I never said anything to) and rarely jive (who's heart doesn't seem in it). Generally I'm not trolling I am being trolled...and as we see, hardly anyone gives a crap

Having to start a campaign to volutarily vote me out of this thread at the last minute..that is trolling....go back to your shouldhavestartedwithansti build thread and stop talking to me

Ps the vote was your idea and you were fine with my numbers until you saw way less people cared than you thought

Wheels look good davin

in all honesty, i dont care what goes on, leave or stay its all the same. yes this thread moves fast, and yes there is A LOT of derp with the 2011+ for some reason bringing more newbs then ever.

i'm just tired of coming back here and seeing a flamefest. sometimes it is quite entertaining, however lately its just ****ing annoying. i dont want to threaten anyone but please keep this to a minimum or else i'll go out of my way to make sure you get some some combination of points, deleted comments, blocked usernames, or if it keep going just a full on IP ban. Celery, we get it, you're bored. hell i'm bored too, but sometimes you just have to learn to let things go, its the internet, WHO GIVES A ****. granted i'll never see most of you in person, and if i do. please come introduce yourselves (i'll be at WBM in the HPT booth), my name is ivan. however until that time i see you in person, please refrain from talking **** and trolling, because we all know 99% of people posting will never do it in person and please have some genuine respect as an ENTHUSIAST in a community.

on that note, did you ever get rid of that poop green plastidip? or it kinda grew on you?

Every time I read the updates to this thread, I say a little prayer to the modgods that the mods will close this haggard, unfortunate, pointless thread. Or move it to OT.

EDIT: Awesome pictures, Jive.

But if you actually go back and look at the recent stuff I'm not saying anything wrong or trolling, I'm just being harassed by the Ben, rob and their nut swingers, which is fine but I'm not leaving a thread on the free internet just because they want me to. The point of the 25 by midnight limit was that way, way more than 25 people view this thread in that time period and most of them just passed by because they don't care and/or this thread is a giant vortex of randomness that serves no purpose at its current size. Maybe a true 2011-2013 picture only thread with a single post from each owner and a link to their individual thread so you could actually navigate it. Any trolling would occur in the member's own thread and everything else would just be deleted.

Poop green plastidip is still on for now..I'm back and forth on it. My fiancée hates it lol.

Yeah, I thought about that but what I was hoping for was that someone else had the problem and had the dealership fix it via sealant or whatever. I dont want to bake them open myself, that's what a warranty is for lol. Maybe they can bust them open, seal them somehow, then make it something I could just simply rinse out...because that stuff is in there DEEP.

No vote for celery. Its a forum.

I'm 99% sure they're sonic welded and cannot be simply baked open. I hope that 1% chance I'm wrong is true, as it would make painting the taillights more interesting.

i think it might stand a chance to look better if your tails werent smoked but instead a bright red, therefore the color wont look out of place. IMO.

i'm not going to start finger pointing, i couldn't care less who started it or continued it. we aren't 5 years old (i think) thus for the sake of not getting this thread shut down people need to let things go UNLESS its blatantly wrong and newbish in which case explain and not bash, everyone was a newb once. further more, we get it..its a public forum. dont go retaliating and being butthurt if some one says something negative, if took what people said to heart about my sti and now the brz i would have had the same bull**** cookie cutter setup and never expressed what i like. but also know if you post **** that clearly goes against majority views you will get bashed in some way, comes with the territory.

Crap. I think you are right. This may be a bigger deal than I thought, however that also means that maybe it looks like a worse problem than it is. Ill remove them all and check them out.

Lol nice scarf. The tails aren't smoked, just too heavy with the red, I need to redo them. Literally all I said was "is that a Bernese mountain dog", and that spiraled into Ben wanting to vote me out of the thread and then him being upset because I really thought I would easily rack up 25 votes in a few hours and he also seemed to until 11:53.
