I guess I'm the square [_]. Sorry it did not work out this week! sounds like it was tough on Monday. I sent you a text regarding an intake question to deal with before the tune on the 11th.

It is sad to say it but I agree with you.

does putting the elbow on the end of the compressor like that cause any negative issues?? like more heat or less power or slower spool? my last setup i ended up doing that to it.

Generally speaking sharp 90° bends like that attribute to a 5% loss in flow capacity vs the same size straight tube.

Yea I believe it does cause some restriction. This thing will be capped at 750 for the sake of replacing gearboxes until I find a 6spd or get another dawgie box

+1 the man himself offering some insight.

Chris next week you should have pics of the killerb stuff and 6766 fwdface.

RealStreet came through and got NightShift a replacement 6766 while everyone else was out of stock.

That's good news Jr! Looking forward to the progress. I'm sure Chris is anxious to see the FF setup! The intake manifold look nice, those runners look big compared to our turbo runners as well as the plenum behind the TB.

Jr, is it possible to get a couple details about the cylinder pinning process? I had a 703 casting block that machine work didn't work out and now an option is to go with a new 704 casting block. I know you don't believe in all the hype about the lack of block integrity but in this case I feel it's better to be safe than sorry. So I want to pin the bores but I'm not sure all the details. The machinist is very good but hasn't done them before. I was curious how much of an interference fit they use. I'm guessing around a .001" press fit is probably good, using an aluminum dowel?

A little off topic but do you think a half rad like that would provide enough coolability for daily driving and some track days (drag and auto-x/road race)?

some welding to the front rail bracket hole. Then drill and retap it over about 1/8 inch

With the right core and shrouds it should.

GTR I just e-tuned on 93.. Hows that for power on an uncorrected mustang dyno. My car makes around 800 on the same dyno and trapped 146mph
