Default EJ25 phase 2 vs EJ25/22 Frankenmotor

Hey everyone.

Ok, lets not mess around.

For a SOHC EJ25, What is better, and WHY?

A Phase 2 EJ25 sohc motor (std) or a phase one dohc EJ25 with the EJ22 sohc heads (std)

Same capacity, different compression ratio's and head ports.

Lets rumble!!

Sorry, I should make myself a little clearer.
I will be using this application in a project car, however, with the room given, I only have enough space for an engine with sohc heads....
Just weighing up my options
