Everything listed on that chart on page 1 is "port" installed.

If a dealer orders you a car and you decide to add stuff after it has reached the port they would have to dealer install those things.

However, there was recently a shortage of "Fog Light Kits" for the BRZ and some colors of wrx/sti so that may be why a dealer said you had to get the fogs at the dealership.

If placing a fresh order, anything on that list can be installed at the port for those exact prices.

Hope that helps guys. Gotta get away from Subaru for a day and a half! I will be back on Monday to answer more questions.

Thanks for the insight! I placed a fresh order, but I bet they allocated a car already in transit, or already built for me. .....

I ordered a SWP 2013 STI hatch today! Chris at Grand Subaru in Bensenville couldn't have been better to work with. Highly recommend. I'm officially a part of the Subie club!

I just put a deposit down on a SWP 5DR 2013 Premium WRX for 900 under invoice with the armrest extension, shock sensor, autodim mirror w/ compass, and cargo net at invoice. Total is 26,885 before tax. I've wanted a WRX or STi for about 8 years and it feels so good to finally be doing this. I looked at used models for months and it's just not worth it in comparison to this deal. Apparently I should expect it in October.

Edit: That deal was found in this thread.

Is it that easy to get under invoice on new STis? Everyone seems to be getting great deals unlike the times when they were struggling with production numbers. If so I am going to jump on the chance to grab one.

So I'm I wrong in saying that everyone who ordered the new 2013 WRX/STI doesn't even know what it's going to look like. From a little searching on the net I can't seem to find a REAL pic from a good source on what they look like. Sure i read things that mite be changing on the cars. Thats all. So good luck and be careful I USED to be an 2008 owner and personally I should have wanted till the 09's hit.

The 13s in Canada are the same. So im sure we can exspect the same thing. Ill be making my STI order in a few weeks. Im going to try to get DGM 4 door at invoice including dest & del'y for $33,218. Also I want to add Nav $888, Auto dim mirror $134, Cargo tray $46, and A/W Floor mats $46. Grand total Out the door $34,332. I would like to get a military discount or somthing as well. Idealy with everything I would like to be OTD at $33,500!! What do you all think?? FYI the difference between car and equipment invoice total vs what i would like to be OTD is $832.

From what I can tell, I got a decent deal. I know Evanston was offering a deal for NASOIC members but I paid a premium to buy from the local dealer (Chris @ Subaru Bensenville) for service and warranty peace of mind.

Not looking forward to the 6-10 week wait, but it's my first new car so I figured its worth it to get exactly what I want. Anything worth doing right, is worth waiting for haha.

Thanks for all the resources on this site while I was prepping to buy!
Well...I went back to Grand Subaru, Bensenville and put Chris through the ringer! Upgraded to a OBP WRX Premium and got inches away from Evanston's deal.

$27,200 + TTL
5-door WRX Premium
Center armrest extension
Red footwell illumination
Side-moldings
STS with upgraded bushing
All weather mats

Again, Chris was great to work with. Very patient and pretty knowledgeable. Looking forward to doing business with him again. Can't wait 'til October!

Anyone in socal (Los Angeles or OC) in the market for a WRX? The best quote I've gotten so far has been invoice, but no less.

South Coast Subaru said they were marking up all of the BRZs and WRXs by $3500, WTF?

I haven't looked into getting a WRX since '09 and just wanted to know if the majority of people still say to order one with a short throw? Also is the red or blue illumination kit worth it?

I've talked with two dealers and they said they would be able to order a 2013 STi Hatch for me at invoice. Is this a good deal?

Invoice is a fair deal. But they can be had for cheaper. Matching Evanston Subaru's $1100 under invoice deal might prove near impossible, but see if you can use it as leverage to get them to come down a bit more.

I just ordered a WRX and decided against the STS as I've read that the Kartboy STS is much cheaper and takes about 30 minutes to install if I ever decide to do it.

1.1k is a whole heck of a deal already. you'd be pushing it but 1.5k sounds like a sweet spot. lets not get too greedy with savings even though we desperately want it
