Problems...Problems...Problems...
Well, I got a call from RMD Subaru today, unfortunetly, that is where I bought my 2002 2.5RS. They told me that the parts that I ordered (WRX style spoiler and fog lamps) are here, so I made an appointment to get them installed. I gave them my car @ 1:00pm, and they said you'll get it back b4 closing(5:00pm), so I waited and waited. Got a call at about 4:40PM, they told me that they have a bit of trouble installing the spoiler because it came with no instructions for installation, so they had to call SOC. Since I need my car for tomorrow, I just told them that I'll drop my car off again tomorrow, at least I have the fog lamps right now... On my way back home I realized that they still have my package from my car that contained the insurance, that meant I was driving illegally on the road... so I phoned them up (luckily my cell has call display), and they said "we forgot to put it back in your car", I also complaint that they didn't give me back my fog lamp covers, cause it came with the car when I bought it, so I SHOULD still have them, they said "Oh! but you'll melt them if you put them on". Aren't those things mine and at my disposal? I mean I can probably sell them... Anyways, just needed to get that out of me, if anyone read up to here, thanks for listening! Pics will come later to see if they've messed up...

Doesn't anyone ever listen to us?
I'm sorry that you got treated like ish there, but that's just the way it is. You want to go there fine, go ahead, don't say we didn't warn you. As for your foglight covers "melting", I highly doubt that will happen. Your foglights should have something called an "on/off" switch. Pressing that "on/off" switch either switches the fogs ON or OFF. In the OFF setting, the foglights are not switched ON. So they will not generate heat. And your spoiler...well, any competent mechanic should've been able to put that on for you. Richmond Subaru. [This message has been edited by Keiho (edited April 16, 2001).] |

I will post a new topic "Richmond Subaru", then everyone who has been treated nice or bad can post your experience there... What do you think? oh one more thing to say.... Specality is the BEST Subaru dealer p.s. Well, I was thinking about selling them, but if I kepp them, and just remove the "Impreza and the Subaru", I can probably make my own STi lamp covers, so I might not sell them. Sorry Orbiter, I sorta knew you'd be the 1st to ask, since you do have a white WRX... hey, u planning to paint your side skirts? Mine already comes white so it looks ok, except I need my side mirrors painted... Know anywhere that does that?

hehe, yep, thats like the ONLY thing that's good about the new RS compared to the WRX...
don't I feel special now... Anyways, I got a request, if possible, can someone get me a pair of those license plate holders from Specialty if they happen to go there? I'll pay you back if it costs ya anything. I sorta dislike wearing the Richmond Subaru ones....u all know what I mean... I know I made a mistake, but I'm trying to improve [This message has been edited by ashtaron14 (edited April 16, 2001).] |

I may be going to Specialty next week, I'm pretty sure I can get you a pair for free.
