that isn't what my gs500 looks like! wow, I like the new looks.
I liked my gs500, just not fantastic on the highway (cruise at like 6-7krpms). Other than that, it was nice |

brand new SV's are only $6k.
nother bike to consider is a Triumph Speed 4. You can find them used for around $5k. |

Side note: Even with your dirtbike/moped exp., isn't it a bad omen to buy a brand new bike as your first real streetbike?

You couldn't get to 5th gear in the city--by the time you're in 3rd/4th you're already at the speed limit. Bling/poser-ish: all the tool-bag kids around here have 'big' bikes; they go straight for the kill with it. I don't really care about how the "girls" or other people think about my bike. I know my limits and I don't want a crotch rocket to learn on. |
