Well still sucks .

Back in 2005 there was a WRX around here that ran 11.8@115 with a VF39. The mod list was very similar to downsti, EWG... C16 and peak boost near 26 psi tappering to 18 or so at redline. Finally it was done with an STi. I think 07 should be doing this with a good driver.

Congrats for the time and great driving!!! The bar has been set. Now let's set it higher!

I would not recommend running the e-manage. Tell your friend to get himself an AP and if he wants to tune it himself, get streetTuner.

What sort of weight reduction has been done to this car? How much does it weigh in 'race trim'?

The only weight reduction done was the spare, the jack, and the rear seat.

Thanks

Not sure... I wasn't at the track so I'll let Sean confirm this. I was only aware of the rear seat.

Thanks

That's the standard stuff to take out if you're looking for a good time... All You need now is a lightweight battery

hahahaha ok well... I guess if you weigh 300 then your prolly not too worried about looking good then anyway

Personaly I like my track car to look just as good as it does when its on the showroom floor.

missing seats all over the place just looks silly....

50 lbs is nothing and besides it was an 11.78 so maybe he runs an 11.8 with them, big whoop
