Default Dirt roads near the dragon? (or on the way from FL)

Anyone know of any dirt roads near the tail of the dragon?

I'm headed there with the XT club later this month, I was told by them that that some WRX drivers know of some nice dirt roads in the area. Anyone know of any?

Or any fun dirt roads on the way up from florida? or even in the Gainesville Area?

Check out the roads in Joyce Kilmer area outside of Robbinsville. You can go from the bottom to the top of the Cherohala without touching a paved road. There's also another way to get down to Tellico Plains without touching a paved road too. Its been a while, but I remember the roads being very scenic and fun. Just look out for the rock crawlers and 4 wheelers.

Do you want gravel for sideways fun or just off road roads? Parson's Branch is tons of fun, I followed my friend's FXT in my bugeye and we had a blast. There are TONS of non-paved roads in the national forest and surrounding area. It's an offroad playground.

There's a lot in and around the Ocala National forest, and around Crescent City. Everything from soft trials to gravel roads (nice and wide too).
