Where have you seen it on there? That image is getting shared in so many places I can't keep track of it. StanceNation picked it up last week.

Those would be nice if they were bigger than 2 inches. Haha.

There's a lot of people coming on this thread and posting 5+ pictures with no info, no explanation, nothing.

I wish those people would stop. This thread is not only for looking AT pictures, but also learning about the settings / setup behind each shot.

For those of you who aren't posting info with your pictures, your posts are pretty much worthless to the thread. Get your info up!

Damn that's cheap! It's by no means a top of the line lens but if you really need a zoom it will do the job and you can't beat that price! I paid $250 for my 55-250.

That lens is junk. If you have an EF-S body, I would definitely go for the 55-250 IS.

Or just save up for something better and not even waste the money. I can't wait to get rid of mine and upgrade.

I agree with this statement but I feel that a lot of people fail to remember that people have different budgets and needs. Not everyone needs pro glass. Maybe someone is just trying photography out and doesn't want to dump a ton of money on gear.

Canon Rebel XTi
1.8 w/ CP filter

Does anyone know why I'm getting that sort of reflection in the window that looks like stars from the filter?

a few test shots with the new lens, wasn't using a tripod. Just wanted to test it out on a cold day.

still trying to figure out the prime lens, because it seems to not put certain things in focus at certain distances. Almost like it's only meant to focus that field of depth at that exact range, just need to go out and keep testing.

Looks awesome to see other people try it out.

I'm a bit torn right now and maybe some of you guys can help.. I'm buying a Nikon D7000 on Black Friday, and I'm not sure what lens(es) to pick up. It's coming with a kit lens but over the past year or two I have been shooting I have really enjoyed the compression of a telephoto. But with that said, the DOF of a 35mm 1.8 is really great for low light shots.

My question is, what do you think I would really benefit most from? Between cars and possible landscape, a 35mm prime or a 85mm. I haven't ruled out a 50, but I'm trying to go wide or telephoto.
