Yeah, and people caught with an illegal firearm in their possession are supposed to be subject to a mandatory one year jail sentence. Guess how many do the time?

I've heard this ban applies to state roads only, not sure if that's true. Last time this was done was after the Blizzard of '78.

He clarified it was for ALL roads.. the funny thing is im pretty sure a WRX with snows will never be caught by a crown vic with cains or an SUV with all seasons.. plus driving skill they will never catch you.. just keep your distance

Good things cars have license plates to identify them.

Unless you remove your license plates!

Wind is cranking up along the coast. Some town is going to end up with over 36" with this storm.

It's 3 kilometers south south east of Anytown. Shocked you haven't heard of it.

I currently live in the same apartment my parents lived in during the blizzard of '78. True Story.

Just went out with my son. His first lesson in plowing snow. He was careful and cautious and did a good job following my directions. He didn't get it stuck in the woods or scare the crap out of anyone (which I would typically do). We saw no cars on the road. Another 6 inches and the snowmobile will need to get out there, maybe.

What facets of vehicle-related activities are you NOT involved in??? You're an instructor, a racer, a mechanic, a Lotus owner, a moderator on a car forum, and you plow too? Do you do repos or drive a semi?

I'm going out plowing soon too. Okay, I'm not plowing, I'm the shoveler.

I'm seriously considering going out skiing after my neighbor stops blocking the road to shovel his tiny driveway.

I hope you all have gopro cams to record your skiing shenanigans. My Scooby hasn't seen any real snow(anything over an inch) since I got it 3yrs ago.

^^ They're one of those moonshiner people that came to delivery their goods but unfortunately got stuck in the blizzard

Penalizing people for being on the road is going alittle overboard. The attitude should be, "If you're stuck and die on the road thats your problem. I told you so,fool! " (Duval)

Going out on a reconnaissance mission later on tonight just for ****s and giggle. Anyone dare too?

I've decided not to. Way too windy out there. Also, my skis aren't made for deep stuff. Anyone have a groomer for cheap? I'll pull it behind my car.
