Default I'm gonna sell my cat to a chinese resturant

One or more of our 3 cats has been pissing on the carpet in our bedroom. I have tried multiple treatments, but cat piss is the worse stuff to get rid of. I pulled the rug up and the padding was soaked. I pulled the padding up and the wood floor was soaked. I have heard that bacterial/enzyme cleansers are the only things that work on cat piss. So now i have the rug pulled up in that cormer and the padding torn out. I went to price a new carpet in the room and the place said $860 for a roughly 19' x 10' room . I hate my cats now. If I can't get rid of the smell completely, they will continue to do it on the new carpet too.

Probably, i think it is a behaivoral issue, but it could be something medical like a UTI.

My cat has only had ONE accident in 2 years.

He was on the windowsill one night when a fox came up to the window, which made him **** himself, right then and there. His fur was so puffed out and he made some ungodly noises before he pooped. I didnt yell at him and he never did anything like that again. It doenst keep me form calling him the 'windowsill ****ter' though.

We've been through this for years. UTI is the most likely cause; our cat had to go on a special diet. That didn't totally work; so our vet put her on Prozac as well. That worked pretty well.

Try amonia. That's supposed to work pretty well. Did you sprinkle some new carpet fresh or something? That may have been a new smell that the cat didn't agree with. My cat used to do that when I used some Glade carpet freshner.

Our cat did the same thing

He has this cheap folding dish chair he liked to sleep in that was in our living room. They were renovating the apartment next door and making a bunch of noise and the only way I could see my cat doing that was if he was literally scared ****less by a big crash, bang or thud while he was sleeping. He was shy and evasive for the next couple days

There's a commercial grade enzyme-type de-funkdifier called Bactizyme that is the only thing I've ever encountered that has worked on cat urine. Check out those vendor labels on the paper towel and/or soap dispensers in a restaurant or bar restroom - call 'em up, see if you can get the full strength stuff. A buddy of ours works in a sanitation supply co. and gave me a full strength bottle and man oh manischewitz is that stuff potent. You're supposed to dilute it 1 part Bactizyme to 4 or 5 parts water, but in full concentration it will do the job. I know from experience (sick / dying cat who decided it was time to pee in a few key places repeatedly in the old house).

1.)Take pictures of you torturing the cats
2.)Send Pics to PITA.
3.)Animal services will show up at your house and take them away.
4.) Profit?

Or you could just start making meth at your house.. then the smell will be normal....
