i have an 05 sti and I'm thinking about getting some mb battles 18x9.5 +15 with either 215/35 or 225/35 tires. I'm on bc br coils so I'll be pretty low. besides rolling my fenders does anyone know how the fitment and ride will be? will they clear the brembos?

im looking to get some d-forces, 18x8.5.... whats the lowest offset i can go without having any rubbing issues? id rather not roll my fenders. i guess the tire size matters, something like a 235?

rolling and pulling like a mother ****er (even stretching that much).

it aint gunna be as easy as "stretched tires and a lil camber".

haha alright thanks. I just needed some input. my friend is on xxr 527 18x9.75 +20 and I like his fitment alot. no pulling just rolling so I was shooting for something along those lines but that might not work.

and like the other guy said...I used to want g forces too but the widest they come in is 9s and I think like +35 and if I'm getting 9s I want somewhere in the +20s.

what car does your friend have? You can't fit 18x9.75 +20 without even a slight pull unless its a GR.

even 9" +20 is a lot of work, but much more doable. 215's or 225's and ~3* with a roll all around would probably do the trick if you aren't super low.

he has an 06 wrx slammed on godspeeds. and 225/35. -4 front and -3.3 in the rear, but he's gona change the rear to -5.4 someday. no rubbing issues unless he's turning hard or the wheels cranked all the way

Why don't you just add a few more degrees of camber and turn it into a hovercraft. Not only will it actually be awesome but you could probably lower it down so the fender sits on the lugnuts or put it on the ground. whatever comes first. Also you could make a new line of cursive 'floatiest' stickers.

doesn't that just sound mad dope?

has the thought that some people don't care as much as you do about handling crossed your mind?

Yes, I did. They look good, aren't a retarded size and nearly everyone who has seen them agree with both points. So that makes me a troll? I know that nasioc can be a bit harsh at times, but that makes absolutely no sense.

I get that, but just because I bought rotiforms that means I am lumped in with them? For reference:

vs

The GTI looks like its broken and mine fit properly, even with the correct size tires ZOMG!

If I'm lowered on Swift springs on stock struts (~1" front, 0.8" rear) how wide can I go with an 18" wheel with and without fender rolling? And what offset would work with that width?

i never said my opinion was more important. i don't tell people they're wrong, idiotic, or stupid for doing what they do because it's something i wouldn't do. that's all i've ever tried to get at. we all have opinions and styles.

it's common knowledge that you hate hellaflush and stance, but that doesn't make others stupid, dumb, idiotic, retarded, or wrong for liking it. i'm not trying to sway you to accept that style, we all would just rather not read what you think about it.

Would Volks CE 17X9 with an offset of 63 fit on an 2007 STI?

Thanks

Sorry if this has been answered, but I don't want to wade through all of these pages.

So I'm getting more and more into auto-x & HPDE's and want more rubber on my 04' wrx wagon. Is it safe to say that I can fit a 17x9 or an 18x9.5 with a +35 offset w/ rear fenders rolled and max camber and clear brembos? Maybe need a spacer?

If not, what offset would you guys recommend that will still let me clear big brakes and not rub my suspension?

edit: forgot, I'm looking at 255+ series tires. as meaty as possible.
