Thumbs down This Sucks!

Well, I just spent the last 2 hours and a bottle of goo gone cleaning the splattered PAINT that somebody threw on my Suby last night. They also hit my roomates' Tahoe, Protegé and Justy. Has anyone had a similar experience lately, specifically in the Moorhead/Broadway area in Boulder? Fortunately the only damage that was done is that the paint looks a little "off" in the areas where it got splattered. It looked like they took a can of house paint and a really big brush and flung it at the cars. The good thing is that there was so much it hadn't dried all the way. What a crappy way to start the morning

Sorry, that sucks!
When I first moved to Boulder I had my rims stolen off of my civic. Yes, my first car was a Honda.
I haven't heard of that happening around Boulder, but I can believe it.
I'm actually supposed to move next week (still in Boulder though) and my landlord told me the other day that the prior tenants are actually the owners of the appartment and they actually didn't want to rent the garage with the place. So my realtor is waiting to hear back from them if we can actually get the garage. My roommate and I have 2 cars and 2 motorcycles so we need the garage and storage space(it's really long). So, I have a signed lease that says I have a garage with my place. If they try to pull anything I'll drag their @sses in court.
I agree....people suck....and this lady I'm dealing with is the biggest, well you know, I have ever met.
Things could be worst though man.......I got hit head on by a drunk driver once and walked away from a totaled car with bruises....an example of how things can aways be worse if you just say what if......
.....what if I didn't have airbags.
Sorry though, that really sucks.

That does suck.
Today someone stuck a nice piece of gum across my driver side door.

Moorhead sucks! I have lived on moorhead for 3 years and have had lots of crap happen to my cars. First I got my brand new ITR stolen from right in front of my house. Then another buddy of mine got his car broken into and had the radio and other stuff torn out. Then just recently I had some fool(s) break into my newer ITR and stripped out the seats, ECU, Valve cover, and strut tower bar! That was a week before I was having someone buy my car! The insurance totalled it and I lost alot of money. I also had someone throw a 20lb rock through my rear spoiler then through the rear window and into the driver's seat (bending it over) then into my windsheild and landing on the dash (breaking the dash). That was in louisville though. You would think that someone hated me or something. I'm a nice guy though.

Sorry about your car. I had a garage installed because of moorhead.

I think I may have seen you around. I am on the tablemesa end.

I may have seen you almost every day on my way to work. Are you the silver rex parked on moorhead about 3/4 of the way toward table mesa? I'm the Blue RS with the red rally stickers on the wing and I have a cracked windshield that would rival most cars out there

That's me. I waved at you today. That is an impressive crack in your windshield . Nice car, I still really like the older impreza body style, and that's my favorite color it comes in too. I have seen pictures of the UK WRX in that color... too bad we didn't get it.

Moorhead huh?
Is that near Tantra off of Table Mesa?
That's where I'm suppose to be moving on Wednesday but I'm still not getting any answer about whether or not I'll get a garage with the place. I'll be the low BRP Impreza with the clear lights and loud intake, etc, etc. Hope to see you guys around. I'm installing a flame thrower activated alarm system. Maybe that we'll help with detering punks in the area.

Sounds cool, but I can't. I'm flying to Michigan for my friends wedding. Talk about an expensive weekend. I'd be down to meet up another time though. The following weekend I'll be out of town also at a motorcycle class, but maybe the weekend afterwards.
Side note: My friend(who's getting married) and I did some driving filming recently. It was kind of cool to see the car being driven. I'm making a short video soon of snowboarding, etc. of my friends and I so I figured some driving footage would be a nice addition.
I would really like to get out to somewhere like Second Creek soon to test out the car and perhaps learn some tips from others.

Later...

We should all get together. I have another buddy on i-club that might come too. I could meet today or tomorrow. I might be going up to keystone tomorrow though. Not sure yet. There are plenty of half empty parking lots we could meet at. There's the one on baseline and broadway, that's right at the end of moorhead. If we meet today I can't hang out for too long but I can definitely show up for awhile. This could be cool, I would like to know the local suby guys around here.

Well, it's 4:45 now. How about we meet at the basemar shopping center at 6:00 for now. If anybody can only go at another time, post it and we'll find something that works for everyone
