It sucks, so any one arranging a Ver.VI wing group buy, if so let me know PLEASE:-)

The good news is My fiance and I got married on DEC.21 in Pacific Grove, CA. And lastly Happy Hoidays to every one on the board.

Thankx Much

you must look at this as blessing...my son
~
assuming you have full coverage
comp deduct will be $200 to $500 from your ins....ask your ins comp to put the name of
a bodyshop you know on the check(not your lien holder)....have the shop sign over the check to you...order your ver5 wing....have the shop do the install/bodywork
post this on texas forum b/c this exact same
thing happened to a guy in dallas(steve/platnium/turbo/my01)and now he has tht
badasss wing with brakelite.
~
the only thing is whether to do your rs or hers first........yeah i thought so......hers 1st
congrats on the union!

this may be a stupid question, but how did the get the wing off. Doesnt the trunk need to be open to get to the bolts? and if that is true like i think it is. Dont you lock your car?

A couple years ago, a co-worker had his spoiler stolen off his less-than-two-months-old '98 blue RS while at the airport. That really sucked!! Parts at that time to replace was over a thousand dollars!

At least this way you will never forget your anniversary...just tie it to the day your spoiler was stolen.

Yeah. I had the SAME thing happen to my Siver RS in DC. Parked RIGHT in front of my girlfriend's apartment and there's a police staion around the corner! I suppose the wing was pretty useless becausethey just ripped it off. Nevver did see any ghetto cars with a silver RS spoiler though. Although I DID see a silver 4-dr RS with a Silver coupe spoiler in Adam's Morgan...hmmmmm....

COngrats on the maRRIAGE!

Put some kind of permanent mark on your wings so you can identify it later. Its to bad that we have to worry about crap like this.

Congrats on the wedding! December 21st is a really cool day. It's the first day of winter, the winter equinox, the shortest day/longest night, cusp between Sagitarius and Capricorn, oh and my birthday.

Sorry to hear bout the spoiler though, but ditto what Alibenn said.
