Default Downpipe and Uppipe Port and Polish...

I have a new Godspeed uppipe and downpipe, should I port and polish it???

don't know how you're going to port them, there isn't that much material you can shave off and i don't know why you would want to do that. if anything, port-match everything you can like the manifold to the uppipe.

I thot port & polish was for throttle body?
what is there to port in a D/P - Up pipe?

you can port and polish a lot of things, depends on how much material there is because you don't want to ruin the structural integrity of whatever it is you're porting. Forced performance ports their hybrid turbo, people port match their stock headers, throttle body - if you want to see the most insane picture of this go to quantum-racing.com. can't really port most aftermarket exhaust pieces because they're usually made out of stainless steel that is pretty thin to begin with. should just go with a different exhaust setup if you want to make it bigger, or go custom.

This is off the topic but how is the quality of the godspeed pieces. I'm still searching for both of these pieces and almost bought the helix downpipe until I read about the fitment issues. Thanks.
