Default Break-In

Morning, all. I know I haven't been a busy poster on these forums but I'm hoping to get the word out and maybe help other people be aware of things going on in our area.

Recently had a break-in to our Condo complex garage. They hit about 8 storage units and vehicles and were also able to get their hands on a garage door opener. Hopefully the opener code will be changed soon.

Had a TREO 10" sub and a TREO AMP mounted directly to the Q-Logic box that the sub was in stolen. Bought it quite a few years ago and can't find any serial numbers but I know that the TREO equipment is fairly unique around here.

If anyone happens to see some TREO equipment circulate through a pawn shop or anything, I'd greatly appreciate a PM. We are working with APD and I would love to see the people responsible get caught for their actions.

I know some of you live in or near the Foxwood condos off of C Street. Please take care and make sure you safeguard your items as best as possible. We've had two breakins now just in our building within the last year. Things are changing around here.

Take care and thank you for your time.

Too bad this happened and too bad APD will only be able to get you as far as getting a police report for an insurance claim. These instances are a daily occurrence and no where near the priority you'd like them to be.

C/N - Lock your **** up and trust no one - not even "friends".

This certainly doesn't make me feel better about finding roommates through craigslist...

Was there evidence of someone actually breaking into the garage? Or could it have possibly been a resident or a friend of resident?

Too tough to say for sure but I have a feeling it was someone who knew a resident. All speculation though. These doors into the common garage space are always left open by residents. Drives me mad.

Did that "someone" have anything ripped off? Or was he safe and somehow excluded?

I recently just moved out with my girlfriend to an apartment complex. My parking space is right in front of my balcony and I told my gf to remove the dog hair outside at like 1 in the a.m. She came back in right away and told me someone was looking at my car! I went Outside to see some ghetto "gangster" dude looking at my stock wrx rims with his lighter. All at 1 in the morning! Then he says... " ummm Im looking for my watch, have you seen it ?"

People.... smh

Can you please provide a more accurate description of this gentleman?

On a serious note, this is terrible news. Nothing is sacred. Fairly bold for someone to break into that many places in one night in one area.

Sorry to hear that OP! People are crazy in this world! I have a house near PA with a couple buddies which makes it easier to commute to and from work, and that house was broken into twice and nothing stolen. Correction - a jar of change was stolen -_-. My parents house on the other hand closer to the shore has our German Shepherd on duty at all times The UPS guy refuses to walk up to our door anymore

He had baggy dark pants. Wearing a jacket. Prolly 6 foot 2. Had a hood on. African American.
That's all I could see at like 1 in the morning.
