Indianapolis Subaru repair shops?
Hey guys I am new to the subaru scene and just picked up a 2007 Impreza at an auction with a damaged oil pan among other damage. I suspect it's from the fork loaders. Anyway I am looking for a good shop or someone on this site for that matter to replace the Oil pan and oil filler tube with a killer B and stock pan. If anyone has any good shops or reputable guys local to do the work that would be great.
I just don't know how the dealer would take to installing a aftermarket filler tube and I don't have a good place to attempt it myself. Again thanks for any help with my pan!

I would at least ask tom wood Subaru , they have an Indianaimpreza.com member discount for labor/parts, and seem to be pretty cool.

PM read, I don't have a good way to get it all the way to Illinois, I'd rather not drive it with risk of damaging the engine

You could ask Tom Wood but last time I asked them about an after market part (a new clutch) they couldn't even tell me if they could do it or not. Told me they would get back to me and never did, just went elsewhere...

From what I've read the oil tube failure isn't as common in non turbo models, I seem to see plenty well into 200k+ miles doing fine. So if mine is new should be good for as long as I own the vehicle for sure.
