That's more of a question for the shaved engine bay thread. Close...but thus is mostly just for those who like making the cluttered engine bay shiny.


Edit: That wasn't to sound like a douche...i looked back through this thread, and there are plenty of people who have deleted stuff. Chances are, someone will chime in and make me look like a 'tard.

Hi there,

This thread has made me fee like my Impreza has a very dirty engine bay. I would love it if someone would educate me on how to properly clean it without damaging the internal electrical parts. The "internet" has one too many posts about it and i'm afraid of damaging my engine.
Is there a proper way of cleaning a horizontal engine?
I have an 07 Impreza 2.5i. Thank you.

Finally took the time to clean mine up a bit. Catch can went in today...no more coiled hose.
