Default 2017 WRX 7" HU non HK bluetooth issues.....

Hello everyone. So I have a 2017 with the 7" HU. I've been experiencing issues where I get no audio during phone calls via bluetooth. If I restart my phone or toggle bluetooth on/off it works for a few phone calls, but then I'll get a call (i hear the ringing) but once I pick up nothing. Huge PIA. Anyone have similar issues and find a fix?

By the way I have a Moto X android phone.

Did you check that the audio from the phone is using bluetooth, during that moment?

I have an iPhone and sometimes it happens to me, not frequently but enough to complain. The phone rings over bluetooth, but when I answer the call, it gets picked up and the audio is coming from the phone itself instead of bluetooth and the speakers. So I have to change the location, on the phone, from handset to bluetooth.

^^^ I'll have to look into that. Thank you. We have the exact same symptoms, except I do not get audio on the ohone unless I hit 'transfer to phone' off the HU, and put the phone on speaker. It's the weirdest thing. It will literally work for a few calls, and then just doesn't work. I either need to toggle the bluetooth on the phone, or if that doesnt work reboot the phone, and/or unpair and repair from the HU. Super annoying.
