Default Spearco TMIC question

So I have what is said to be a (v1 spearco tmic) There is no writing on the top of the intercooler but there are some number letter combo on the one side. I don't have the number handy right now or I was going to google it but does anyone know if this is a "real" spearco tmic or is there another way to tell?

stockscooby it's a spearco tmic. You bought this from me and if you have any doubts send it back and I'll refund your money. I've installed (every version out there) and tuned many of these tmic on subies so I know that it's a genuine spearco tmic. Here is a thread where I use your tmic as a reference http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2311434. Middle one in the picture below.

I got a couple guys looking for used ones too but the only one I got hanging around the garage now is a new one and not a lot of them are up for it. I remember you looking for one and I'll keep you updated if I have any of the cars that I work on looking to part out or upgrading to a fmic. Also I noticed your thread about the strut bar question and honestly most of the cars that run them(strut bars) DBW GD-GR sti version end up ditching them unless I enlarge the welded bracket mounting holes and tb hose a slight bit to bring the the tmic closer to the intake manifold. Some do fit but I don't pay attention much on the brand.

Your the man! Thanks! Worse case scenario ill just ditch the strut bar if it doesn't fit.. but definitely keep me updated if you find a used one! Thanks again!
