Question newb AVC-R questions

OK, I've read the install and tuning guide 4 times and am still unclear on a couple of things...

1. I assume you retain the stock MAP sensor and t-in the new "pressure sensor" since the ECU still needs a MAP reading correct?

2. I've heard of check engine issues after removing the stock Boost solenoid. a resistor would work but which should I use on an EJ20G?

Lastly, since I had a PFC Boost control kit prior, are there any other settings I need to change back aside from turning the boost controller off?

TIA!
-Mike.

OK well thanks for the response. 1- kinda thought that so good to confirm. 2- I'll try without the resistor and see if I get a CEL. 3- we'll see.

May just need to limp it over to my tuner and have him change what's needed.

BTW, anyone know what resistor to use? What voltage, resistance, etc (I'm NOT experienced in electronics)

only way to tell would be to put a meter on it .. i would think it would need a higher watt rating

Lightbulb

Got everything in and after setting gear judge and a conservative boost of 1.0 bar and 60% duty it runs like a champ (no CEL for stock boost solenoid)

Getting it tuned Friday
