Going to dick hannah subaru this weekend to try and get a '13 WRX, where i work i get a special corporate discount through dick hannah dealers and the newer the car the better the discount, so with the discount on a '13 WRX I get 4,000 off the top

I took delivery 9/17.

If you want the best deal, email your dealership's wholesale department with a description of the exact vehicle you want and tell them you're not willing to pay a cent more than invoice. The wholesale department should be quoting you at or below invoice anyways.

There's a delivery thread in General for people updating. I got mine off the lot from Chaplins like 6-8 weeks ago.

My 2012 was ordered in February, and came in May. Twelve weeks to delivery, via Walkers Renton(never going to deal with them again, though that's another story.)

You should be getting under invoice on anything that's already in their inventory. If you're going to order one, you should at least manage invoice minus holdback. I was told 8+ weeks if I ordered one. Hannah was the least expensive of all Portland dealers, Wentworth was the most expensive.

Holdback is supposedly ~3.5%; VIP is 2% and is not being offered on new WRX/STI/BRZ currently. If you managed anything over ~1% under invoice, you did quite well.

For in stock, I agree. For an order, you should be able to get invoice-holdback without even trying.

Probably not happening this year, unless you are willing to wait for a late MY build once demand has dropped. Subaru won't budge on VIP purchases (which are only 2%) right now, even for long-standing members of the program.

Looks like I purchased at .6% under invoice. I had inquired about VIP through both our corporate rep and the local dealers. Saving another 3% would have been awesome.

I wish more people knew about their relative buying power. I had a 2013 WRX buyer brag to me about only paying 2% OVER invoice. He was floored when I told him the dealer still made close to 6% on the deal...they had him convinced they had to make at least 2% over to break even.

Ordered mine from Hannah, took 11 weeks to the day. Got better than VIP pricing on everything. When I picked it up they said they would give me 1k to not buy it so they could sell it at sticker. I guess they had 3 offers to buy it before i picked it up.

The car I bought was from hannah, and when it showed up at the dealer I purchased it from it had a 5k mark up... I paid less than msrp even after taxes and licensing. Not the best deal, but I am happy and in the end thats all that matters.

I can get a hold of 2013's. Just let me know, we can talk if anyone wants one. If not that's fine too. Many people are pretty picky who they go through. But I'm sure the 400. Over invoice is the best deal. I will be working through the Costco membership program as well. Pm me if interested, I can get a timeline. Setup a meeting, let you know how long it will take for delivery. Which I can push pretty fast.

Uhhh...did you not see the multiple people clearly stating they've paid under invoice? $400 above invoice is no special deal (nor the best one around).

Meant the same. But was just saying that they aren't hard to get just the wait is a pain anywhere. Anyone have one yet on this thread post a pic.

Says over invoice. I was being friendly and stating I can get them. No need to be rude.

Just ask straight up to see the actual invoice. Period or walk. Usually that will help.

I bought my 2011 brand new from CARR. I paid much less than invoice. It can be done.
