tax question
so i did the little calculator, and its showing ill be getting $500 less than last year. ive been making double of what i was last year this whole year. is this the case because of the fiscal cliff? and i heard that the ATRA law might be in affect and would get more money. anyone a guru on taxes??

You are in a different tax bracket now. The more money you make the more taxes you pay and the less you get back

When you make more money you could be put in a different tax bracket so you don't get as much of a return depending what you claim on your W2.

Your tax return is an interest free loan to the government based on taxes you overpaid throughout the year, not a cash bonus.
