remaking my WRX 08 because a front crash... and decided to put a roll cage and lift it... want to use it like autocross... and now looking here there's another type, open rally, etc... some one can tell me de differences?

Im not going to rally professionally... just want to use the AWD in a proper way.. (yes... with roll cage).

Pretty sure that the struts & springs came with the forester brackets. I know we put different brackets on either way, and fitting a 215/70/16 grabber, its a little less than an inch off.

No real mods yet other than the Forester struts & springs...waiting on tire & trailing arm funds.

Curious to find out what you guys think. I'm assuming any 02-07 impreza wagon would be the same. I'm working on the suspension on my 03 wagon, and found that the previous owner not only installed forester suspension (obvious), but he also put 1" spacers on the rear. I'm installing new rear struts, and a set of lowering forester King springs. I realize that my new tire size, and this 1" drop that the springs are going to give will net me about 2" lower than where it sits now, however I'm sure the cv joints will thank me. My question is this. If any of you have experience with these springs, should I keep the strut spacers in or take them out. If they were the small 1/4"-3/8" spacers, I'd just keep them in. However, if I don't use these, I'd have to change the strut top hardware out with shorter bolts.
