Default S&R Built 2011 STi - Just getting started

We got a chance to build another 2011 STi with an old friend of ours. Customer wanted to keep it as simple as possible and so we worked together to pick out some parts that we know work well and so far it's looking great.

Turbo: ATP GT35R

We went with the ATP Bolt on 35R with the Turbosmart Hypertgate 45mm External Wastegate. We love this combo. Power, reliability and a great value in a single bundle.

Bolt-ons:
ProSport Header/Up Pipe Combo
Agency Power Inlet Tube
Crawford Performance Air/Oil Separator
Grimmspeed BCS
DW 750cc Injectors
Invidia Down Pipe
AEM Cold Air Intake
Killer B Baffle
Killer B Pick Up Tube
Forge Diverter Valve
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Perrin Cat Back Exhaust

Couple of pics:

The car is running on a base map right now. We'll be making an aluminum under tray and a custom TMIC in the coming weeks to prep it for some of the finishing touches and tuning.

Hope you guys enjoy the pics. I'll post up dyno data and vids as soon as we wrap it up.

Looks good. Looking forward to seeing numbers. I have a similar list of parts on and or waiting to be put on. Good to see what to expect.

very cool. Drove the car last night and it's really nice! These are really great cars. We'll be measuring up for the new TMIC we'll be making in about a week or so. We've got to finish up some other fab projects first in time for our poker run but it'll be done soon!

Lots of suspension goodies on the way, too!

How the hell did you guys get the 90-degree fitting off the stock BPV? Do you all have them laying around and are willing to sell one

Can't wait to see the car develop. Should be a monster with that 35R spooling.

Car is on the way to Top Speed for some Dougie tuning! We should have numbers by the end of the day! I'm heading to the beach today but I'll update as they come in!

Wow, that's great power given such a simplistic setup and relatively low boost.

Maxed out the Stock Intercoolers Eefficiency at 402WHP so it will stay like that for a couple of months then a new top mount will take it's place to get me to about 450WHP

Aren't you worried about piston issues beyond 350+ whp?

It's a bolt on turbo, not a custom build.

Depends on the tune, STI pistons have been know to hold 500 WHP on a safe tune. You can also see them fail on stage 2 numbers if the tuner doesn't know what he's doing. From what I'm heard, these guys have a good understanding of what they are doing so the car should be fine.

excatly. A good tune is the difference between life and death. Doug does an amazing job and we're confident in the tune.

He was talking about the bundle that we offer with the external gate and such included. Makes it all easier.

I was looking at the bolt ons list, and is there a reason you guys are putting a brand new pick up tube in such a new car?
