I'm looking at $22,972 for the sedan (base price, including all fees). Options are 30% over invoice.

With the topic being "order in", does that mean you actually GOT the car. Probably not since the topic isn't "ORDER IN!!!!!!" but just curious if we can all get really anxious!

Talking

Getting mine for Invoice plus $750, and tax.

Options are invoice price.

I got Carbon Fiber Trim, Rear diff protector, Arm rest extension, rear cupholder,HEPA anti allergic air filter system, 4 Pot STI Brake upgrade (11.7"), COBB Tuning Stainless Brake Lines.

I didnt bother with Gauge pack, just gonna buy the housing from subaru and do autometer pro comp ultralite or greddy/apex gauges.

No kit, no wing, no wheels. This one is gonna be clean and JDM all the way (the way it should be).

I plan to take all the badges in the rear off immediatley (subaru and WRX badge).

Didn't know there was going to be a WRX wagon. Was going to buy a Passat Variant, or possibly wait months for the new A4 Avant. Now after watching some video on the car from the UK. I'm hooked. I couldn't imagine a Passat doing anything like I saw the WRX do on a test track. Amazing! Now, I need to know what dealer to order from? Any ideas? I live in southern California. Irvine I've good things about. Will calling a Fleet Dealer be a good idea. A Fleet Dealer for Volkswagon was quoting me $300 over invoice for the 2001.5 GLX Variant. By the way what is the invoice on the WRX Wagon? I know MSRP is $23,500. Sorry about the long post, guess I'm just hyperventilating at the keyboard.

Socalveracity-

Invoice is roughly $2000 less than MSRP. I believe subaru wants all there dealers to sell for MSRP no less, no more.

I wouldnt pay more than $1000 over invoice, thats tops...

BTW if you cant find a dealer in Socal and dont want to pay msrp, and dont mind coming to sf area to get it let me know ill hook you up with a really friendly dealer.

Thanks for the info EJ20WRX, and the offer. I may take you up on that. It would be a wonderful drive back down the coast. Would have to watch out for the CHPies on the 101 which would probably be more fun than a straight shot down the five. Is that your email on your sig?

Quoted MSRP + Destination at the local Thousand Oaks Dealership, and the was a Fleet Dealer referral. WRX Wagon $24,010 with an April 20th delivery date. Slightly dissappointed. 7 1/2 week wait and not $1 under MSRP. I'll deal with anyone in California. Ideas? Contacts? I really want this car.

I had ordered an RS 2 coupe, and was going to pay about 800 over invoice, but Subaru cancelled the order (stopped production), and so I'm getting a WRX wagon, for about 800 over. Dealer said that MSRP with all my options was 25,118, and was expecting Invoice + 800 to be about 23,600; this is with auto dim. mirror, security upgrade, arm rest ext., cargo net, air filter, rear diff protect., floormats, speaker upgrade, and subwoofer. Thank god they cancelled the RS order! A couple of weeks ago the dealer said that he was expecting the car around March 1. He's not going to have an updated time frame till next week; this is killing me!
