Default Opinions on this engine / swap.

Last one, I promise!
OK, What do you guys think of:
1999 JDM WRX Motor with VF29 Turbo, I/C, uppipe, downpipe, all sensors and accessories (including P/S pump and lines), complete bulk wiring harness and ECU. 280HP
Front Crossmember from '99 JDM WRX
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
V6 STI Radiator
Full wiring diagrams

For $3000, plus shipping. Is this a good deal? I am told that because the engine comes from the same year as my car (this is going in a 1999 Impreza 2.5RS) the swap should be more straight forward, and I should be able to use the JDM ECU to completely run the car, instead of using the JDM ECU for the engine only and the stock ECU for all other functions. Is this true?
Also, what else would I need to completely swap this engine into my car? The only thing I can think off are the power steering lines (since this is from a RHD car), and I am wondering if I can just bend the stock ones and make it fit somehow. I am sure I'm missing some stuff though. Help Please

you will still need to do some wiring simply cuz your car is a NA motor and the JDM is a turbo therefore requiring more sensors requiring you to separate the harness. Would it be a lot easier, not necessarily because I imagine the pinouts for the cars aren't the same so you still have to wire.

somebody correct me if I'm wrong here...

Theres still some stuff you'll need. and because its the same year as your car it'd be easier of a swap but by no means is it still an easy swap if that make sense. a 94 impreza L there isn't a lot to wire up compared to a 99RS. By more Stright forward of a swap this means things like the fuse box are the same between the 99usdm compared to 99wrx. The pre97's have a difference fusex box uses different fuses etc. The fact that you have a newier car means you have a lot to wire up. I don't know anyone that has the stock ecu and a JDM ecu in there car? You use your JDM Ecu for everything and you have other computers like door timer that has nothing to with the ECU. ECU = Engine Computer Unit AKA ECM. SO by this I mean the ECM ONLY RUNS the engien and does nothing else besides sends signals to other parts of the car thats engine related for example your VSS the ecu will send a signal to see the cars moving etc and make sure your car doesn't go in limp mode. you have to use your stock Rack and pinon so you don't need to bend any power steering lines. Even if you had access to JDM Rack and pinon ((I have one)) you wouldn't be able to use it because of the steering colum bolts on to the rack. along with this the power steering pump Always stays in the same location so why would you you need to bend any lines?
you you could send us some pictures this way to me and see waht I think! if you have any other questions u could send them this way via AIM theres a lot I'm sure I'm leaving out
